This is an excellent product. I’m a black women with blown, straightened hair, and this spray allows me to touch up my hair with straighteners between washes with full protection also adds some moisture. Most other heat protectors are waterbased which for afro hair is a no no. This is an aerosol and so creates the perfect protector. Smells nice too! Love it.

Two points, first being the smell. It smells amazing. Second, the heat protection is the reason for buying but how it leaves your hair soft before you put any heat on it is great. I’ve used the Kenra heat protectant and it feels more like a hair spray. This leaves the best smell, protects your hair and leaves it soft. It’s such a quality product. Buy it!

Got this for my wife and she loves it, says it’s nice to have a heat protector spray she can use on her dry hair while styling with the flat iron. Isn’t greasy, smells great, she uses it every time she dries or flat irons her hair.

I used to get split ends because I like to use a curling iron and the heat was destroying my hair. Well, I still use a curling iron but now I don’t get split ends because I use this heat defense spray and it works great! My hair is in a healthy condition now thanks to this heat defense. Highly recommend.

Smells delicious and beachy
This heat protector spray in is super light and works great!! Not sticky or heavy like some other heat protectant sprays.. very effective in keeping my hair NOT damaged
I used a redken spray before this and it made my hair stiff and crispy after heated.

This heat protectant from Moroccanoil is a staple in my hair care routine. The scent is absolutely amazing—beachy and refreshing, it instantly takes me back to Miami. It’s lightweight, non-greasy, and works great for protecting my hair from heat styling. However, I originally purchased a much larger bottle from a salon for the same price, so that’s the only downside. Otherwise, it’s an excellent product that I highly recommend!
