I absolutely hate an oily feeling scalp. So much so, that I wash my hair daily to not feel oily. However, as I’ve gotten older my hair is starting to thin out and I’m sure all my washing isn’t helping it.
This tonic is lightly scented, and the scent is rather refreshing. You squirt the oil onto the scalp and massage it into the scalp wherever you decide to put it. It dries nicely and doesn’t leave an oily residue or oily feel behind. I still can’t tell if it’s making a difference with my thinning hair, I guess I’ll need to wait a bit longer to tell.

This Moroccan oil is in a really nice bottle with gold safety features for shipping so that the bottle doesn’t break or have the spray nozzle crack. I think it’s a good quality oil and it makes my hair noticably thicker appearing when sprayed directly onto my scalp. It’s almost as though it adds body. My only complaint is that it smells odd. I can’t even pinpoint the odor that it most resembles because it’s not necessarily bad but it’s also not a good smell. It’s just odd. I’d still keep using it because I like the way my hair feels with it but I also think I’d use something to cover up the smell a bit as well.

I have used this brand since I started working at Sephora many many years ago. I haven’t once been disappointed by this brand and this is no exception. In my mid 30s you can tell your hair is starting to thin. I even wear my hair up 99.9% of the time which is horrible for your hair. I know… I know. This product is great at using on my scalp and really easy to use. It doesn’t weigh by hair down at all it doesn’t make it oily and it doesn’t affect it at all. But I have noticed a thicker scalp throughout the time of using it. I am about half way through and can tell my hair is not only getting thicker but it’s looking fuller and better overall!

This product leaked so much that it leaked out of the sealed Moroccanoil box into the Amazon box. A 1/4 of the product leaked out!

Having Covid and another illness have done a number on my hair. I am excited to add this Moroccanoil Revitalizing Scalp Tonic Treatment to my hair care routine. The lightweight product sprays out as a mist and is quickly absorbed/dries without making my hair feel heavy. Although I don’t smell much lavender, it has a nice minty/tea tree scent to it and is quite refreshing. It makes the scalp just feel refreshed if that makes sense. It does give my hair an initial volume boost and reminds me of a hair texture spray. It does not make my hair feel dirty, weighed down, or oily. Overall a really nice scalp treatment. I am excited to see the results over time (the description says 90 days).

Just started to use this. I love all the Moroccan Oil products. I am expecting great results.

This Moroccanoil Revitalizing Scalp Treatment needs to rethink how it keeps the bottle from leaking when shipped from online orders. The box is shrink wrapped in plastic and the cardboard box was soaked in the scalp treatment, I don’t know how full the bottle was to begin with but the bottle was at least 25% empty when it arrived.
Outside of the packaging/shipping the Moroccanoil spray has a pleasant though light scent. The spray application makes it super easy to use everyday. The spray is light and doesn’t weight down your hair or make it feel greasy.
Does this make my hair thinner? I dunno yet, it’s too early to tell at this point but I am hopeful I will see results.

I have used this daily for weeks now. It is so hard to tell if it’s making a different bc hair growth takes time. I spray in different areas on my scalp, paying special attention to my hairline. I use a Moroccan oil scalp massage brush to work it through my hair.
I like the way it feels. Doesn’t leave any greasy feeling or look. I think it may be helping? It does say results take months.

They make it sound like this stuff needs to be used frequently and build up to work in the long run, but what I found is that it increases the volume of your hair each time you put it on. I may be the only man who has reviewed this product so far. I’m in my ’60s and my hair is thinning out some, and I find that when I put this on after showering it bulks up my hair in a nice way. As others have mentioned it’s not heavy or thick feeling on the hair, and in fact I can barely feel that it’s in there. I’m not as concerned about the scent and all of that, but I do like this product and would highly recommend it, though it is a bit pricey.
