The stainless steel is nice, but I am used to using a stone that is a bit larger overall. I attempted to use this once and my hand was totally aching half way through my routine. I needed to return it and go for a stone that’s easier to handle.

This gua sha is the first that I have owned and it works very well. I was happy to see that Amazon carries the Mount Lai brand because it is an Asian female owned brand that I am proud to support! I purchased the stainless steel gua sha so that if I dropped it, it wouldn’t break. I have previously broken a jade face roller from a different brand by dropping it in my sink, so I figured better safe than sorry.
The specific contours of the tool are perfect for my face and neck. The tool comes with a guide for how to use it which is very helpful for first time users. I would recommend this high quality tool to anyone looking to buy a gua sha for the first time!

I love the smoothness and how sturdy the gua sha is. It’s a great value for money and comes with an instruction card. It is the perfect weight. I use it with an oil and it is performers great with gliding and massaging.

I use this every night! Part of my night time routine! I’ve only been using it about a month now and while it makes my face feeling really great, relaxed clean pampered, the only difference I’ve noticed is the bags under my eyes aren’t so big! That’s great but I’m still looking for more, better results. Takes time I know. I love it so much I’ll definitely be buying more from Mount Lai! It also came with instructions on how to use it which I also really liked cause there are so many different ways you’re “suppose” to use it ????? Different people swear by different techniques but I’ve just been following the instructions that came in the box. When I got the package the gua sha was out of the box just sliding around with everything else I ordered but it wasn’t broken thankfully!

I’ve bought a number of Gua shas to try out over the past few months and I am very satisfied with this one. Not sure if it’s real jade or not, but I don’t care too much either. It seems authentic enough for me. It feels cold to the touch which is what mattered to me and it stays cold longer than the others I’ve tried. It also has the perfect amount of thickness- not too thick and not too thin, so it feels like the perfect amount to glide on your face. It also glides really well and just feels luxurious overall. I also like the shape as some others might have too deep of a heart shape to use effectively or one side would be too long compared to the other, but this one is nice. I did notice some minor imperfections such as tiiiny little holes and a tiny chipped part on the flat surface that shouldn’t affect its performance. It seems normal for stone guashas to have some tiny holes that might make it less sanitary but I don’t mind cleaning it after each use. I would definitely recommend this overall even at $28. Besides the minor imperfections, it’s a quality item compared to the others I’ve tried.

While these tools are usually made of stone, GO STAINLESS STEEL. The stone tools shatter if dropped accidentally. No issue with steel…!
