It is very rare for me to give a company five stars and/or a bad review. So if you see me give them five stars they are the stuff and I was very pleased. I bought the 10A kinky curl 18-inch v/u part wig for my little sister for picture day a few weeks ago it was at the last minute we only had a day to order a wig and one person said this and that about wig companies so I was conflicted on what to order. I’ve never ordered from Nadula but I took the chance and I ordered this wig for $107 I got it on a deal for 80 something and it came out to $91. It came the next day and I and my sister were nervous because if this wig didn’t come out right, we wouldn’t know what she would have done with her hair. The hair came in a nice pink company box and it came with two caps for a wig, a headband, and a bra strap (which I needed for my strapless bra). When we saw the wig we both lost hope in this wig. I have the worst experience with u part wigs and jerry curls. I spent that money on that wig and she had picture day so we were determined to make that wig look good on her. The wig didn’t have any foul smells nor did it smell like burnt hair it smelt brand new like it was from a hair store and it also was so soft! So I washed it with a conditioner I like to use which is by the brand named Aussie it’s in a purple bottle. The wig didn’t have any chemicals coming off or didn’t have dirty things coming off the hair (you know how if you get a wig and you see a dirty brown solution coming off your wig as if it’s not new), so that was a plus. After I washed it I got a towel nobody use and I patted the hair with the towel making sure it was not dripping wet then when it was wet and dry I got my hair products (Mielle’s curl smoothie, Design essentials almond & avocado curl enhancing mousse). Then, I moisturized the hair with Mielle’s curl smoothie (the lawd that smells so good). After I was done moisturizing the hair I pumped the design essential mousse (to keep the curls) on individual parts and I started finger curling small parts of the hair to the ends. Once the entire hair was finger curled I let it air dry and once it was fully dried (didn’t take that long, to be honest) I undid most of the finger curls and I used Mielle’s curl refreshing spray and used a wig brushed to kinda define the curls. I have to say it looked amazing. Those curls looked natural and I was shocked because I had the worst experience with kinky curls, I guess I didn’t have the right products at that time. That wig looked amazing and natural like I couldn’t even. So my sister did her hair (put her hair in a low ponytail and left out the parts for the u/v part). Now we were excited the wig was the bomb but what needed to work was blending the wig with her hair texture. Her hair is mixed with 3c and 4a and her texture is kind of damaged she has had trouble blending her hair with previous u/v part wigs. So she did her hair then she put the wig on she noticed that the wig is a little too big but she used adjusting straps that help a bit. She used Mielle’s curl smoothie with the hair she left out to blend it with the wig and she used the wig brush to blend it more. After her hair was a bit blended she put the mousse, I mentioned earlier, all over the curls (to make the curls stay), and then she did that hairstyle above. The curls weren’t quite blended so she finger-curled her hair and the wig together to make it look more natural and BOOM it looked bomb! We were so surprised. When she went to school the next day everybody was complimenting her so I would highly suggest this wig! (if you are wondering she is 5’6 and has tall legs) If you want the wig to look like my sisters then I would recommend following my steps and using the products I listed above if you want a strong hold you could try using eco gel and finger curling it with your hair and the wig hair. I am sorry for this long review a lot of people recommend a very descriptive review and that’s what I did so I hope if you try this wig you’ll enjoy it as much as my sister does!

Bounce back curls! All you’ll need is your normal conditioners, gels, and a diffuser! Wash and go kinda u part wig. Matches my hair texture PERFECTLY—4A, 4B texture.
No matting or insane tangles.
CONS: doesn’t mention the texture, which is 4A! The “kinky” can be misleading.
VERY smelly. Took like 3 washes to get smell out.
It had lots of brown stuff after first co-wash!
Wig itself is large, and I have a big head. I had to pin it all around to fit.
ALSO!!! No clip ins! Had to sew some clips to secure the wig—they only used combs near the u-part area??? Idk.
Shedding (which is normal with this texture) but I’m noticing more as I wear it! I’ve worn it to sleep. Had it roughly 2 weeks.
Overall, I give it a 7 out of 10! Price is acceptable, but there are a few tweaks to get the wig how you’d like. If you’re hoping for a wig you can just throw on, spray with water/conditioner and go, this isn’t it. But! A little TLC and it’s worth it!
UPDATE: It sheds A LOT! I’m not big on shedding bc our natural hair sheds. But this has thinned out tremendously. There is definitely matting in the nape area, no matter what TLC I give it. More cons then pros, but the curls are SO perfect! May just wear as clip ins now.

I love this wig. I’m not a wig wearer but I also hate doing my hair so….this is a win win! Everyone kept telling me to get a wig and I’m glad I did. The hair is soft but there was a little shedding once I washed and combed it through. It is a dense wig so the little shedding was nothing. Easy style, pre cut lace, awesome! I did attach wig combs along the sides to give it a more secure feel otherwise I’m happy with it.

It’s only been 3 days since receiving and rocking my 22′ Kinky v part but I Love it. Soft…easy to comb…. light on the head…. and matches my hair PERFECT. I would definitely recommend.

I purchased this wig twice. The first round I wore it for 2 weeks and the results were that the top of the wig shedded drastically made me look like I was balding on top. Clumps of hair came out. I never used a comb only finger manipulation and water with a little sheen. The curl pattern is so nice I didn’t want to give up. So I ordered a replacement, the same balding and shedding happened in the same area- top of wig.

Like most wigs, This hair requires maintenance and it does shed ALOT ! I usually have to trim it a little each week because the ends become tangled. It’s more kinky on the end than curly. It’s really pretty and I get compliments. I cut it into a cute shape just so I don’t have to show any lace but the wig doesn’t feel secured at all. I have mixed feelings but for the price give it a shot. It’s only one comb in the back so if possible find other ways to secure it.

I love Nadula as a company BUT THIS WIG? Had to go back. I couldn’t wear it due to it shedding like crazy. It was clear that the length was very uneven. Overall stiff and a mess.
Would buy the brand again just not the kinky curly
