I’ve used it a few times and it can work great, but when it says no more than ten minutes it means NO MORE THAN TEN MINUTES. Product works fantastically if you use it right though. Also, DO NOT REAPPLY TO THE SAME AREA MULTIPLE TIMES BACK TO BACK. That falls under the no more than ten minutes. I got some pretty bad chemical burns, but that’s on me not the product. When I was done I saw I missed some spots so I fully reapplied and did it fully again on my arms and legs again. Don’t do that, wait a day or two. And if you do get chemical burns, be sure to disinfect with isopropyl alcohol and keep it clean while it heals.

Most everyone probably knows this but most if not all Nair hair removal products contain Urea. If you look at the ingredients list it says Water, Urea, its the second ingredient. Dangerous to the body Urea is secreted out of humans through our urine. It’s produced by the liver. Urea is used in some skin care products because of its ability to leave the skin feeling soft. I personally had no idea and synthetic or not the warnings on the container sure are enough to be concerned about applying this product to my skin. It’s returnable so that is a great thing about Amazon. Unfortunately it cost $7.99 to return it in my situation.

I immediately tried a small patch in the groin area and kept a wash cloth close by. Waited 3 min and wiped it off, to my surprise all but some few stragglers were left behind. So I went for the privy’s. Same result. I tried again to clean up the stragglers and stay with in the ten min time frame. DO NOT DO THAT! Wait till the next day. It burns a bit .
It does smell so take a shower immediately. Smells like something died or something pretty pungent. However I WILL do this again so much better than razor burns or waxing.

I first tried this on my shoulder as a test, and had no adverse reaction. I then applied it to my whole back. As soon as I applied it, it stung a lot in certain areas. I foolishly figured it would go away or that this was a sign that it was working, but it just got worse and worse and was sore for a day or two afterwards.
I do not understand why part of my back was very sensitive to this and other parts were not at all. (I suspect it relates to dry skin? Also, every body is different.)
I’m giving 4 stars overall, because it does work, and there are plenty of instructions about being careful with it. Deducting a star for the section of my back that was in a good deal of pain. Overall, I want to caution you that a stinging sensation is not a sign that the product is working; it’s a sign that you are having the type of reaction the instructions warn about, and that you should wash it off immediately. (In a weird way, though, this gives me some comfort: it seems like it will either be completely fine, or you’ll know immediately and can remove it right away.)

I have really thick and stubborn hair but this knocked it right out of the park. Better than the regular nair geared towards women that only takes off your hair if it’s fine and weak. This is definitely for ethnic women, but if you’re allergic to ingredients make sure to check so you don’t get chemical burns
