This whipped oil comes in a nice heavy jar and smells like vanilla. I thought the scent might be too strong for me, but it’s not- it’s a natural, not artificial scent, and it’s mild once applied and doesn’t seem to linger where you are constantly smelling it all the time. The formula is very lightweight and spreads easily so even though yes, it is expensive, a little will go a long way. It feels nice on but I was most impressed by how hydrated my skin look and felt the next morning! My skin was visibly plump so wrinkles were less noticeable and my skin was super soft feeling. After continued use, I’ve gotten the same results and it doesn’t seem to be breaking out my sometimes sensitive skin. This whipped oil has moved to the top of my favorites list!

Naturopathica Manuka Honey Whipped Oil is 1.69 fl oz and hydrates the skin for a smoother and softer complexion. It is made with apricot kernel oil, jojoba oil and manuka honey. For best results use after applying serum or as a makeup primer. This product is suitable for all skin types and makes a great gift.

    I highly recommend this product!

From the moisturizing effects to the fragrance to the feel of it, I love everything about this moisturizer. It feels so light and soft, and it changes from a lotion to an oil almost. I used it on my feet one night because I couldn’t find my usual, and it did wonders for my dry feet!

This is the first moisturizer that I’ve ever used that actually stung when I put it on. I expect moisturizers to feel soothing and make my face feel better. There were places on my skin that this actually hurt when I rubbed it on, which really surprised me. I didn’t have any open cuts or anything that I was aware of, but it stung in multiple places as I applied it. Also, and I’m not completely sure it was this or some allergies from being outside that morning, but my eyes burned a bit and felt really tired after I applied this (but not before).

I used this one time and tried to give it a chance, but after about an hour of my eyes hurting, I washed it off and put one of my regular moisturizers. I immediately felt better.

My issue with this isn’t the price. It’s that it actually was uncomfortable for me to have it on my skin.

This cream comes in a small bottle but not to worry you only need a very small amount to apply to your face. Even less then what I showed on my finger, that was still a little to much. The cream does feel greasy and shines when it’s on your face. It eventually fades and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. It has a very lite sent that is pleasant and not bothersome. I even check to see how good the product was as far as ingredients goes and it is excellent for use,no harmful ingredients to worry about which I was greatful for. I like this cream and how it feels after use. My only concern on this cream was on the jar it said to apply small amount on, as the box says to apply after serum application then apply the cream. So it was confusing when one mentioned using another product prior to this. I don’t have the serum so just applied this to my face after I washed my face then went to bed with the cream on. Waking up my face didn’t feel greasy at all and it was smooth feeling. Can’t wait to see how it helps even more after long term use. This cream is great and I like it a lot. I think it’s a great product to have and use.

This moisturizer has a light, pleasant honey smell! It’s coated but doesn’t clog. I’ve used it on my neck and face and it seems to be a great companion for the coming fall season.

Although highly moisturizing, it made my sensitive skin break out with deep painful acne.
It helped my eczema, but made other issues

Naturopathica Whipped Honey Oil has a whipped, creamy texture out of the jar but transforms into an oil when smoothed on my skin. This behaves more like an oil than a cream, but I feel it’s a bit of a hybrid in that it feels richer and more emollient than my usual face oils and also has a buttery feeling that makes my skin incredibly soft for many hours. This has fairly light fragrance that’s pleasing with a scent that reminds me of sweet honey. My skin is sensitive, but I’ve had no irritation.

The directions say to use this honey oil as the last step after a serum, which I interpret as a suggestion to skip a cream or moisturizer. I’ve tried it that way but have dry, mature skin (55+) and don’t find this honey oil (or any face oil) moisturizing enough to skip my face cream. Plus, it lacks some other attributes of a cream I like, such as a firming feel. However, some may get enough moisture from this oil. I prefer applying it last after my night cream to get a hydration and antioxidant boost and the velvety soft feel it imparts.

I have also tried this honey oil as part of my daytime regimen. I think it may be too greasy or oily for some, but I’ve found that I can use it during the day if I use only a really small amount after my moisturizer. It gives me some extra hydration and antioxidants and also makes my skin look a little dewy. Also, that softness it adds reminds me of the feel of silicone and helps me get a smooth makeup application (so long as I use just a very small amount. Like it. 4 stars.
