Picture showed that it’s in one of those small container, but I got a lotion like bottle instead. These were great for my skin, helped with dark circles. If only it wasn’t half empty.

Somehow Naturopathica has concocted a lip and eye cream using primrose that actually works on under eye crepe and fine lines on lips. I recommend you give it a try. You will NOT be dissatisfied. Only use a small amount and gently tap in under eyes and on upper lip.

My favorite lip and eye treatment

Opened this $62 product to find it’s not more than 1/3rd of the way full. Not sure how, not sure why, but I want my money back. I’ve gotten the travel size of this years ago… It had the same amount. First time not buying from Naturopathica and will never buy from Amazon again. And I’m too afraid to use this on my eyes in case it’s been physically tampered with.

First off, this is a great formula, so why the 2 stars??? (Heads-up- I would normally only leave ONE star in such a situation!) Well, I was SO excited to try this… I REALLY wanted to love it. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as pictured or advertised. When this happens, if it’s completely different than picture, I usually do ONE star. But… I actually really like the formula.

The problem is the jar packaging. Not only is this not as advertised or shown, but the jar itself is problematic. I usually take off just one star for a jar if I like the formula, as I can just transfer the product to a pump bottle, so it’s not a deal-breaker. BUT- this was pictured as being in a tube.

The jar LOOKS nice and sleek. But I care more about what’s inside. This formula is full of great antioxidants, which are rendered useless with the jar. Antioxidants (and many other ingredients) lose potency, as repeated exposure to light and air cause them to degrade, especially since it’s not a waterless formula. There’s also the matter of introducing bacteria by repeatedly dipping one’s fingers into the jar. I see some users have been putting this directly ON their lips, instead of the intended area- the skin AROUND the lips. This means the cream likely turns into a cesspool of germs even faster- which makes matters worse if you get those germs near the eye area. It’s cross-contamination from Hades.

That said, I love the ingredients, having had excellent results from rose products in the past. The cream has a light, natural rose scent that dissipates quickly, it’s rich enough to be luxurious without suffocating my skin. It absorbs quickly without being greasy. It’s soothing, not irritating. My eye area is left hydrated, with fine lines plumped. These are the ONLY reasons I didn’t take this all the way down to just one star.

I just can’t get around the misleading listing of a sanitary tube that protects the ingredients from light, air, and bacteria, but receiving something completely different. For a jar, this absolutely is NOT anywhere CLOSE to being worth the $62 price. If the listing and photos were updated to reflect the actual product being delivered, buyers could make a more informed decision. If I had paid for this instead of receiving through Amazon’s Vine program, I would absolutely return thus, and be left feeling duped. If the product were in a tube, and as advertised, this would be at least 4 stars, likely 5.

Excellent product. Great for lips too. Had a facial at a high end spa and the used this product

This is a lovely, rich cream. I received the version in the glass jar as shown in the [now updated] product description. It was initially shown to be a tube, which accounts for some of the comments in the reviews. I use this under my eyes and at the corners and I also apply it as recommended to the area above my upper lip where I am starting to develop those tell-tale signs of age — vertical lines. Somehow, they bother me much more than lines around my eyes. The cream has a nice, light rose scent that I like but it is quite noticeable at first, so it might bother some individuals. It does dissipate after a while, but for this reason I use this cream only at night. It goes on very smoothly and feels great — instantly moisturizing. It is more of a cream than a balm and it absorbs into my skin very well but it does take a few minutes. It feels doesn’t leave an oily film after it sinks in. It is very moisturizing and leaves my skin feeling very fresh and smooth the next morning. I use a very small amount and I think the cream helps minimize the appearance of those pesky lines. The small, squat jar is very cute with a fun shape; it is made of heavy blue glass with a twist-off metal cap and a shield underneath. The current price of $61.74 for only 1/2 ounce of this cream is a bit too high for me to consider purchasing, but I do like it a lot and will enjoy using it. It is true that only a tiny amount is needed, so the jar will last a long time and that helps to mitigate the cost. The product arrived boxed and properly sealed. The cream is well formulated and the price is the only reason I am rating this at four stars rather than five.

This cream was used on me at an upscale spa I visited earlier this summer. I saw an immediate difference in small lines around my eyes. Now I use it daily. Just a tiny dot under each eye. And a dot over my lip. It lasts, so the price isn’t that bad.
