I recently tried Nécessaire The Body Peel, my first experience using a body exfoliating treatment. The serum contains a blend of ingredients designed to remove dead skin cells, promote cell turnover, and smooth out skin texture. While I haven’t used it long enough to see significant results yet, I do find the serum to be a bit sticky upon application. However, it’s fragrance-free, which is a plus for anyone sensitive to strong scents. I’m looking forward to seeing the long-term benefits as I continue using it.

I’ve struggled with KP and strawberry skin/freckles on my legs and upper arms forever. This product has nearly eliminated them in under two weeks of even inconsistent use. It goes on like a gel and is a bit tacky, but once you’ve layered moisturizer over it you can’t even feel it’s there. I have sensitive skin and do feel some tingling when applied after shaving but have had no adverse reaction to it. Amazed how much it has smoothed my skin, glad I took a chance on it and will rebuy again.

This product arrived busted and leaking everywhere. When I tried to open it, it dumped liquid all over my floor and trash can. Gross. Side note: why is this body serum red?? It just looks gross. I’m not sure if the product just oxidized or what but everything about this experience was unpleasant and now it’s all in the trash.

Not sure what to think about this stuff, and I have questions. First, yes, as noted, is sticky. I do mix with lotion to offset, as suggested but I would think that dilutes the treatment. Just a thought. Choose the lesser evil, so to speak.
I guess this stuff acts like a chemical peel like one popularly uses on the face. I know peels beg for sun protection of face afterwards, and sunscreen is suggested with this product’s use, so I want to be careful about all over sun exposure . I’m outdoors 2- 3 hours a day with dog, in park, so forth, in southern Louisiana’s hot, sunny climate.
It’s pricey. Now if it does make body more youthful looking at the skin- level, okay, sure. I have not used long enough to detemine. Plus , I’m 64 so don’t expect miracles on senior skin from any topical. I will have to see how I land with this product– as I still weigh this issue of, maybe, heightened sensitivity to sun.

This does feel pretty tacky and sticky when I first put it on but it dries down and that sensation disappears.
The skin concerns that I have on my upper arms are being addressed and I am not experiencing any irritation. No fragrance, which I really appreciate.
My skin feels soft and moisturized.
My only wish is that this product also contained SPF, but I use it at night, after showers to accommodate this.

Big container with an insert that likely holds less. No safety seal on mine. Gel like product was sticky for some time after application. no scent. I don’t like the vague directions on the box.
