I have tried many hair appliances through the years and am always on the lookout for something that makes my hair-fixing routine easier but results in a style that I am pleased with. This blow dryer brush is one of those appliances which really does help me out with time.
__Firstly, I will say that I do use my regular blow dryer to get my hair to the damp/dry stage, then I use this blow dryer brush to finish drying my hair. Using the dryer brush creates crazy volume whereas only using my old dryer does not create any volume.
__I also will explain that I have a bit of problem with lacking much strength n my hands so its not always easy to hold onto things. This dryer brush is quite chunky and that is a real plus for me as I can hold onto it easily and twirl it as well while my hair is drying and being styled. I hope that makes sense. SMILES
__I appreciate that the barrel is oval shaped which IMO makes it easier to create more defined curls if that is my desire, or by using the rounded section will coax my hair into a more sleek style. Options are always a plus. Another great feature is the metal barrel which promotes the curling aspect

I currently own a popular brand of a similar item and I love it. However, I’ve had to replace it twice over 2 years so I thought I would see what else is out there on the market and do a side by side comparison. First, as with most plastic type items along with heat, there is an odor when using it for the first time. This is somewhat expected and it did dissipate a bit after using for a bit but will likely linger for more uses. The size of this blow dryer is very close to that of my existing one though it does feel a bit lighter in weight. In terms of grabbing the sections of my hair, this one does not glide quite as easily as my existing one. The bristles are a little bit different and there were a few times where it caught my hair but not enough that made a measurable difference. In terms of drying time, this blow dryer took slightly longer than my existing one thought It’s worth noting that my existing one is quite hot so this new one is likely causing less damage to my hair. Aesthetics of the blow dryer are not important to me but if they were, the gold/black combo is attractive. Bonus points for this blow dryer because it includes a loop to neatly wrap and secure the cord when not in use and it includes a tiny little ‘rake’ to remove any hair that gets caught in order to keep it clean. The true test for me will be its longevity. Hopefully, I won’t know how long it lasts for a very long time. I’ll certainly come back and update if it should die in a short period of time. For now, I would say that this blow dryer stacks up quite well against more popular brands on the market.

This blow dryer brush saved me so much time straightening my 2C naturally curly/wavy hair. I don’t straighten it often because it takes so long. This brush cut drying time nearly in half and made it so much easier to straighten. It wasn’t a perfect solution because I still had to use the flat iron on some spots, but I didn’t have to spend hours blow drying my hair before getting out the flat iron. Truly a time saver. It has 3 settings and I used the hottest which is pretty darn hot. If I wasn’t careful it would burn my fingers. It didn’t give me a lot of extra volume but also with the curly hair my hair is already so thick that it doesn’t need a tool for volume. The tool feels pretty decent quality. It works well and it is affordable at $30.

I purchased this as a gift for my daughter. She was extremely happy and says it works as intended. Delivers good heat and it serves it’s purpose. Nice product as described. It seems durable, so hopefully it lasts..

I have A LOT of very thick, long hair. I’m Black and keep my hair natural, so my hair is also textured with a lot of volume. I own a similar name brand blow dry brush that I’ve used for a number of years, but some of the bristles are becoming misshapen, so I figured I’d try this out.
This new brush performed very well on my wash day. I used it on the highest setting, and was able to fully dry my hair in about 30 minutes which is very fast for me. The aluminum core was sufficiently hot enough to aid in drying as my hair moved through the brush. However, I didn’t have any issues with burning my hair or my hands- my hands were especially safe because of the end cap that I could hold. The 2 types of bristles did a wonderful job of gripping and stretching my hair as I moved through each section. The brush is lightweight, and unlike my name brand brush, the switch is located where I can easily change modes of desired while it is in use. In addition to high and medium, there is a cool mode which is helpful for setting a style if you need it.
I would confidently recommend this brush to anyone in the market for one. In addition to performing well, it’s extremely affordable. At the time of order, the cost was about $35 with an available $5 coupon. That places it at half the price of the other one I own and it works just as well, so it’s truly a bargain!

It’s a good iron at a fair price. My hair stylist had told me to get one of these, the one showed me was 80-something bucks. I was, like, yeah, I’ll think about it. My hair on the back of my head is thick and it is on the coarse side. Using this, I can skip the smoothing products if I want and my hair holds its smoothness. It’s healthy for your hair. Since using this, which only took me about two, three times to really get the hang of it, I haven’t used my curling iron since.
