The packaging of this face serum is simple but nice, and it contains about 1.7 oz. of product which for the price, it’s pretty expensive but the quality is very good so I think it’s worth a try. Feel very light weighted after applying on skin and it doesn’t leave the skin oily or sticky like some serum products. It makes my skin very soft and you can see the result of having very even and smooths kin after a while using it. I sometimes use it under my makeup as well and it helps my makeup looks nicer after following up with a moisturizer.

I first learned about Neostrata at a Drs office where they were selling it. I consider it to be a trusted brand. So I was happy to try this serum.

This is a clear fluid that felt a bit sticky on my skin after application. It is designed to help even skin and brighten it.

I ran the ingredients through a skin care checker and was pleased to see it scored only a 1 for potentially comedogenic and fungal acne causing ingredients. That’s great. I will see how this works on my skin over time.

    Ingredients: Ingredients :

I love this serum! Just a drop every night has left my (mature) skin glowing, even, and overall beautiful

I want to see more information on a skincare product right on the Amazon page, or, if not there, for the manufacturer to have a clickable link to their site. I did google this Neostrata Enlighten Serum and found it on the Neostrata website and a few other places, including a big box store that sold it about $30 less (though everywhere else it’s around the $82).

The box indicates this is made in the US from domestic and imported products, but even on their page they don’t say ‘made in the US’ so, really, I’d just like to know where it’s manufactured, wherever that is, even if outside the US–I have lots of K Beauty products and other skincare made outside the US so it doesn’t have to be here in the US. Just let me know upfront, Neostrata, and beef up your Amazon page some.

That aside, it’s a lovely serum. Clear and not too thick so it glides on the skin nicely. There is a very subtle soft ‘powder’ scent to it, slightly floral, but it’s not overwhelming and it disappears within at least an hour after applying.

Of course I can’t tell you what results I will have this fast. It takes weeks or months of consistent use of any skincare product to see results. But I can tell you that it felt great on my face, absorbed quickly, didn’t irritate my slight-rosacea-prone skin (no burning, itching, redness), and left my skin feeling super soft.

I really liked the feel of this serum and how it made my skin feel, but before I’d pay $82 for an ounce of this product, I’d want to do more research on the company and the product.

This serum comes in a very nice bottle. It’s glass and has a plastic top. It’s quite sturdy and easy to pump out. It does say that it is manufactured in United States with domestic and imported ingredients. It is supposed to help uneven skin tone and discoloration caused by sun exposure and aging. They do recommend watching sun exposure while using this product. I have been wearing an increased spf cream on my face while using this serum.

It is a clear serum with just a hint of orange scent. It’s very light and has not caused my skin any irritation. I do have discoloration and have been looking for a product to use. I am excited about continuing to use this product as it does feel very nice on my skin. I have seen an improvement in my skins overall appearance.

The first day I used this, I liked it, but nearly quit using it because I had 5 zits the next day!
Interestingly though, they really healed fast and two days later my skin was looking clear again. After a week I noticed that my skin was brighter and the skin tone is very even. It didn’t really help my fine lines and crepe under my eyes, but it really brightened my skin so much that it looks younger.
I have some dark under eye circles too and it’s really help them. That area has brightened considerably too.
I did have some downsides to this though. They are
    – initial breakout
-product does not mix well with my other skin care products and I get a lot of piling. It doesn’t react with my makeup well either. This is a product I have to put on at night after I take my makeup off before bed with nothing else. I have some hyaluronic acid spray in water and glycerine base that works ok with it.
It’s a nice feeling serum that comes in a great glass container with a pump dispenser. The serum itself is clear, and it absorbs well. It can feel a little tacky after it dries.

At 42, I have noticed a lot of changes in my skin this year. The imperfections in my skin are far more noticeable these days and I am not appreciating these new sun spots. I have been using this product for a couple of weeks now and I believe it is working. My husband says he can definitely see the difference. My Overall, I think my skin looks a lot more even. And feels well moisturized too. The fragrance is pleasant. And this serum doesn’t irritate my allergies or agitate my eczema. I like it a lot and I like the result that I have seen so far. I would come be back to buy it again, so I would have to recommend it.
