I do think this is a light yet moisturizing cream that feels refreshing on my face. It rubs in really well and does not feel greasy. The one thing that makes it difficult for me to continue to buy this product is the scent. It is a perfume-like scent that is pretty potent. I would prefer a lighter and fresher scent, so that is my one negative that I can’t get past. However, I think that is also personal preference.

I really like Neostrata as a brand. Up front about ingredients and they aren’t trying to be a jack of all trades. They do what they do well: help you maintain clear, smooth skin free of wrinkles (within reason) and discoloration.
This is the best moisturizer I’ve used in a while. It almost has a water gel texture inside the jar. Application is seamless. It smooths on evenly with no residue left behind. A little goes a long way… But I use a lot because my skin is extremely dry, I use benzoyl peroxide for acne, and honestly, this feels kind of luxurious. It makes my skin bouncy and dewy. Moisturization is long lasting without feeling like my skin is weighed down. I don’t love the scent, but I don’t despise it. It’s a bit floral, but clean and light. I prefer an unscented product, even if it has a bit of a “clinical” smell.
I’m about a fourth of the way through my second jar and I’m going to go ahead and call this one my holy grail moisturizer.

I am always hesitant to try new moisturizing creams on my face because I can be very acne prone, many products break me out. I have had a good track record with Neostrata but decided to try this on my neck as I am already getting some fine lines there (I am in my 30s). After a week or so I could already see an improvement and decided to risk a part of my face. Thankfully I didn’t break out! I now use these cream on my face and neck 1-2 times a day with no irritation or acne.
It has been a few weeks and my skin looks and feels amazing. I definitely notice some of my shallower acne scars as well as fine lines have been plumped up a bit so they are way less noticeable and my skin has more of a healthy dewy look.
I am not crazy about the scent, it has an added fragrance, but it thankfully dissipates within 30 minutes.
I do find that my extra dry skin appreciates when I put my regular moisturizer on top of this cream.

If this gel cream’s scent were a perfume, and it could be, they would name it tropical oceanside flower garden. It is blue, yet floral, yet unisex . . . it’s incredible. I could smell this all day. The thick gel is amazing on skin, I love how it feels, I love how hydrates and plumps up my 40+ year old, fair, freckled, combo/dry skin. This is an “empty” for me, and there’s no bigger compliment I can give a product than to actually finish it! It delivers on all counts and I would absolutely buy this again and again! It helps so much with wrinkles, elasticity, firmness, and gives me an instant glow. This is a winner!

NEOSTRATA Hydra Filling Cream Anti-Wrinkle Concentrate
I have super dry and sensitive skin and this feels wonderful. It is very luxurious and feels soothing – it sinks into your skin pretty quickly. This green cream is like a thick lotion rather than a cream and it works well with my dry skin. It works even better when you use this with a hydrating serum. My skin just drank this up and it feels so smooth and supple now. I am using a pea-sized amount at night. It works well with my other skincare with no weird pilling or stickiness. It does have a slight scent but nothing that bothers me. The scent reminds me a bit of old lady perfume.
This package does not come safety sealed and there is no expiration date. It should be used within 12 months of opening. It comes in a gorgeous frosted glass jar. It is recyclable.

LOVE how moisturizing this night cream it. It is so luxurious but also soaks right in and doesn’t sit on top of your skin or feel oily. Has a faint scent, which is so nice. It’s not good to have a purfumey cream on your face. I really love Neostrata products! They are all really nice and worth the money.
