It is very hard to find a normal shampoo for oily hair . I like this one, it makes hair clean. But I’m really tired of smelling like grapefruit all the time. Before that, I loved grapefruits, but I’m tired of this smell, which stays with me all the time. An freegrans free shampoo with similar properties would be very good. I’m like a normal woman, not a fruit, I want to smell like favorite perfume or nothing. By the way, my cat does not like citrus and now stays away from me. I love my funny cat, so I continue to search for a normal, unscented shampoo.

I’ve used Neutrogena products almost exclusively for decades.I preferred the old formulation without the addition of scents but the newer formulation works well. I wash my hair every day, sometimes twice a day, so a formulation that cleans but is also gentle on the skin is important.

I tried it for like two months, and man it’s good, I am a young man, my hair has medium length, super greasy, the smallest effort, work, gym, walking or stress would create an oil factory in my head and this one definitely did the job of cleansing it. But it does dry out the hair if you wash daily like I do. So I still had to use a conditioner, one from OGX with apple cider vinegar. They work like a charm

I have straight, fine hair with an oily, very sensitive scalp prone to dandruff. Usually either my scalp OR my hair will love a shampoo. This shampoo works great for my scalp and ok for my hair. It does do a good job of exfoliating my scalp without making it break out in sores/hives, but it does seem to leave a film on my roots that leaves it prone to oil. If I washed my hair every day, this wouldn’t be an issue, but I wash every other day, using dry shampoo on off-days. I get around this by using this shampoo first and then following it with another shampoo (Sukin for normal hair) that does a better job of removing the excess oil. It does do a very good job of getting all the product/dry shampoo out on the first wash, though.
