So I’ve been struggling with acne for 4 years and it doesn’t show any signs of going away soon… But as anyone with acne knows, we try tons of different products in hopes that it will be *the one* that banishes our acne forever (we can dream). Anyways, I’ve tried many moisturizers, including the other neutrogena ones. This is the ONLY moisturizer I’ve used that does not breakout my skin. The only thing I will say is that it is not a very powerful moisturizer. If you have dry skin or flaky spots, this will not do much to help. In those cases, I opt for a stronger moisturizer. But this is perfect for daily use – it’s light and refreshing. It does have a somewhat strong fragrance at first, but I like the smell and it fades quickly so I don’t mind.
Also, for any fellow acne sufferers I’ll tell you what has always made me breakout with moisturizers, and maybe this can help you:
-Unfortunately, ANY SPF lotion irritates my skin and leads to breakouts. I don’t know why, maybe I just have sensitive skin.
-A lot of moisturizers with oil make me breakout. I’m not saying oil is evil though! I know there’s a few oils that are very good for your skin, but honestly I’m too scared to try them because I finally found a routine that has cleared up most of my acne. If you’re interested, I’ve heard tea tree oil is good.
-Additionally, very creamy consistency moisturizers usually lead to a breakout for me too. I don’t know what it is, but I’m guessing it’s an ingredient that is similar in all of them.
(And if anyone is wondering how I cleared up my acne, I wash my face with a gentle cleanser at night and moisturize right away! While my face still has some dew on it, that’s the best time to. I then put a VERY thin layer of benzoyl peroxide gel on my problem areas (It dries out skin easily!) In the morning I wash my face with a salicylic acid wash and so far, all of my pimples (I usually have 8-12 at a time) have vanished and now I only have 2! )

I have very oily skin, and I used to use their tumeric one, but it got discontinued. I gave this one a try, and it paid off. Very light on your skin, very absorbing and doesn’t add any oilyness to the face.
My only comment about this is when we don’t use it for awhile it shuts off automatically and I have to take off one battery just so I can use it bcos theres no on and off button –
Im also using the face wipes of this product since I used the face wipes and this one my face become smoother and moisturized than before.

I love this moisturizer. I was always hesitant to use moisturizer because my skin is oily and I have struggled with acne. This moisturizer is my favorite – great hydration without being oily. Great value. Definitely recommend.

It smells good. Not a greasy consistency. But it cant help in treating pimples and acne scars, i got pimples after using also. So i cant say its the perfect one for those who have oily, sensitive acne prone skin types.

NO PUEDO CON LA EFICACIA DE ESTA CREMA.
Había estado usando otros productos para acné más caros que este y ninguno me había ayudado a disminuir tanto las espinillas. Con esta crema los brotes han sido casi nulos, y cuando me salen se van pronto.
No ha hecho que la textura de mi piel sea mejor, pero con que evite que salgan espinillas tengo, después puedo agregar algo para eso.
Lo único que puedo agregar es que aunque su consistencia es ligera, al ponerla se siente un poco superficial, como barrera o como se siente cuando te pones un bloqueador (no sabría explicarlo), pues con cualquier cosita mi rostro empieza a sudar un poco, cosa que no me pasaba antes ni con cremas más pesadas 😅 pero con secar el sudor o poner polvo traslúcido se resuelve.

I have oily skin. My face would look shiny even just an hour after doing my skincare, and I would constantly have to wipe oil from my face. I use a gentle cleanser and hydrate well so I figured the problem was my lotion. I cycled through a few basic lotion brands but my face would still look oily. Then I gave this a try. It’s amazing for me! Now my face doesn’t get oily so fast anymore. I spent a few hours working in the sun and my face barely had any oil. And I only need to apply a little bit of product to moisturize my whole face (with my face damp). I can understand how some people don’t like the scent, but I don’t mind it. The smell goes away quickly anyways. Near perfect product for me 👍
