I have a LOT of fine hair – smaller hair strands, but a ton of it. Also, licensed hairdresser, so it’s not common I cannot get a product to work for me if I try hard enough. I have used this several times, and it does literally nothing to my hair. No lift, no hold, nothing special. I will be regifting this to my MIL or someone who might be able to find use of it.

I have very thin hair. You can see my whole scalp out in the light. It’s been dull and lifeless for several years. I read a review that this spray nourishes your hair and I tried it. Breakage has been greatly reduced and I am hoping that maybe my hair will start to look thicker , if the breaking of hairs continues to diminish. It’s too soon to tell. But I have noticed my hair is shining again and just overall feels better. I liken the smell to aromatherapy and it actually helps me go to sleep. After a couple of days, my hair will feel a little flat, When that happens, I spray some dry shampoo into it, and it fluffs right up again for at least three more days. Hope this helps someone .

I bought this on a whim. I’ve been searching for the Ion thickening volume mist I’ve been using for years but it’s never in stock on Amazon or in the store and Salley Hansen store near has it anymore either. So I decided to try this as it was a recommendation to try based on my searches. It took a while to arrive. When I first used it I knew right away it was bad. It has an overwhelming chemical scent to it which smells like someone who is getting their hair permed and it also felt like it was tingling and began to feel warm immediately after I sprayed it on. It didn’t use much, maybe four sprays and the tingling soon subsided but not the chemical smell. I dried my hair and it didn’t work for volume at all and left my hair with a sort of sticky feeling and as if it were weighed down. Later on when I washed it I had a bunch of hair fall out.

I was influenced by one celebrity on Instagram. I have been using it for a while now. Unfortunately, it does nothing to my fine hair. There is no volume at all. I will not repurchase it.

I was pleasantly surprised how well this worked. I struggle with volume and texture and this product really helped. I sprayed on the roots as instructed and then dried my hair, roots first, It really did produce volume better than any other product I have ever used. Waking up the next morning, I still had some volume. It does have a scent. I relate it most to a “hair salon” scent. I don’t mind it but some may. And, the scent hangs around. I will add this product to my buy list going forward.

Received the product and it smelled good however I have fine grey hair and this just made my hair greasy and heavy . Definitely not for my hair type
