Alright, so I’ve officially been using System 1 for almost one year now. I have oily hair (requires daily washing) that is thin, falling, and getting visibly thin at the crown area. First off… the tingly feeling at first goes away after a few uses. The shampoo has no pleasant or unpleasant smell, so don’t expect your significant other to stick their nose in your hair and be allured in by the normal girly smells that come so easily with the over the counter products. Now for the important item…performance…. keeping in mind that I wasn’t very good at using the conditioner or leave in scalp treatment, my review is only for the shampoo. I used it almost daily for the last year. I was pleasantly surprised I could see difference in my hair growth in 3-4 months. Yes… it’s a long time, but think about how long it takes to grow hair! In my experience, it will not prevent breakage and will not prevent hair loss (especially due to stress… ehem (guilty)… or any medical issues. It just helps hair grow out strong and gives your scalp a little umph. Do not buy this product with unrealistic expectations, as you will be disappointed, and be patient! I’m probably going to switch to a volumizing and clarifying shampoo to supplement my routine. Also…. get a really good conditioner (I use mine on just the tips).
Now the only con I have is the shampoo doesn’t make your hair feel very good. If you skip conditioner it’s almost like it’s a little frail and doesn’t style blow dry very well. I have thin, frizzy and semi-wavy hair, and sans conditioner, I’m helpless at styling. So again… get a good conditioner and you’ll be happy.

OK, so this did not help my hair to thicken or grow back. But is did several wonderful things for my scalp. It is rather drying, so I only shampoo with it intermittently. A bit pricey for a shampoo, but I bought it on sale so it was affordable for me to try.
Ever since I was a baby, I was allergic to some of the microorganisms that are a part of every person’s skin biome. This allergy resulted in dandruff, starting at age 13. For decades, I tried so many shampoos, both prescription and OTC. Many of them kept the dandruff in control for about 2 days. But this shampoo was different. It eliminated my dandruff. It is a strong shampoo and my theory is that it was able to get under the layer of skin containing dead cells, thus allowing the cells to be rinsed away. My dandruff is gone, and does not recur, but my scalp still gets irritated due the allergy. But it is so nice not to deal any more with the dandruff component of the problem.
The next wonderful thing is that I used it on my underarms. I have not detected any odor since using this, but I still use a light amount of deodorant just to make sure. But on the few days that I forgot to use deodorant, there was no odor.
If you try is, one of the things my dermatologist said is that each person’s skin is different, and what may work well for one person’s skin will not work for another. So no guarantees here, but I feel pleased that it helped me.

I ordered this product hoping to see less hair thinning and more hair growth . I most definitely have seen some new hair growth and the thinning had seemed to have slowed down . I’m only about three weeks in but happy with the results so far.
