Will be my soap moving forward. Smells good and rinses good. Nice and refreshing soft skin after shower.

I have tried many different soaps and body washes over the years trying to find one that made me feel clean while not making my skin too dry. Atopic dermatitis is hard to manage – this is my answer. Wow. Not changing. It smells okay – nothing too flowery or high school gym like. A good product. I bought several bottles.

  3. Cathy Escala

I buy this body wash for my grandson. The price is a little much.

  4. Melissa Drews

Used with at least two different kinds of loofah, which has in the past with other body washes resulted in some post shower itchiness. But with this wash there hasn’t been any similar issues with irritation.

Subtle smell, not too obnoxious, has gotten me compliments in the past.

  5. CGIrl

I have been buying this up as I find it as they have stopped making it an it was the only thing for my boyfriends sensitive skin that doesn’t make him break out. I hope the company Nivea comes up with a replacement for this.

  6. Tim K

It mostly does the job with sensitive skin, but the smell is too strong, and is almost “mediciny”…haven’t found anything to replace it.

  7. Rajasekhar

    its good

After a year of using Dove Care, I decided to explore other body washes. I wanted something moisturizing as my skin gets dry during the winter. Many of the other moisturizing washes left me feeling slimy when I came out of the shower. A few others still left me dry. The Nivea wash has been the perfect balance between the 2. I don’t feel slimy coming out of the shower and I almost never feel dry, maybe a little lotion every couple weeks.

The scent is also very subtle and nice. I would describe it as a sweet, fresh scent. It’s not overwhelming like so many other men’s body washes. My girlfriend agrees that the smell is very nice (and she even steals some for her own use at times!).

All the other body washes I’d been trying are now relegated to under the sink and backup duty. The value in terms of price and performance really can’t be beat.

  9. DAS CKID64

Helps keep the body that’s sensitive to cleaners clean and itch free

  10. Ronit Maitra

Good product, does not over dry your skin. Nice smell too.

I have been using body washes in place of bar soaps for the last ten years. My skin is very sensitive, especially during winter months. I’ve used all of the major body wash brands for men (and even some for women) – Old Spice, Softsoap, Dove, Dial, etc. They were decent, but none of them made my skin feel equally clean and hydrated and could be used on my body, face, and hair. I have been using Nivea exclusively for the past six months or so, and the results have been fantastic. I even stopped buying dedicated face wash and shampoo, as Nivea is a 3-in-1 solution.

It is delicate enough to be used everywhere on my body. My face is clear and glowing. Some competitors which claim to also be appropriate as face washes have caused blemishes or dry, dull skin. It keeps my hair looking good and non-greasy, though it’s usually buzzed down anyway. I can’t speak to its effect on longer hair. Nivea washes off cleanly, unlike Dove for Men, which always left my skin feeling slimy. I don’t like any extra residue – my skin should simply feel like there is water on it. It smells fantastic – close in fragrance to a good bar soap, with no chemical-like odors or frat boy perfumes. It’s unisex, in my opinion. The body wash is easy to pour (also unlike Dove for Men Sensitive Clean, which has to be squeezed out of the bottle with unnecessary strength), and foams up nicely. I go through a bottle approximately every three weeks, and I’m not stingy with how much I pour.

After ten years of experimenting with different brands and realizing what I expect from a body wash, Nivea seems to be the cumulative choice that I will be using from now on. I have it sent to me in a 3-pack via Subscribe & Save, as Wegman’s often runs out. In a pinch, any Nivea body wash will do, and I find their cleaning ability and quality to be higher than that of competitors.

I am not huge on over powering scents or overly harsh cleaning products so this was right up my ally. The body wash has a scent but its pleasant and very light. Cleans just as well if not better than any other body wash but it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dryer.
