I’d used the gel before and really liked it. I thought I was ordering just that. When the cream came with it, I was disappointed and almost returned it. Then, rather than that, I tried it and loved it! Because of medical and medication issues, my hair is fine and brittle and the cream fills it out nicely! Very pleased and will reorder.
The gel is best for extra hold and worked very well, but that hold isn’t always needed.
I would recommend both products very highly!

I haven’t tried the product yet but i’m really upset that it included two creams and the gel was missing? it was supposed to be one of each and only way to get the gel now is to return these and get a refund, which is a lot of effort when it isn’t my fault at all

I have low porosity curls. Some products are way too heavy for my hair. Others make my hair feel gross, sticky and weight down my head. I found the curl cream here to be perfect for what my hair needs. It smells fresh, doesn’t leave my hair sticky, and leaves my curls VERY soft. My curls feel light and I feel like I’ve found the holy Grail of creams.
I use a minimal amount of gel but mostly mousse with curly creams, so this gel will last me awhile. I’ve also used this gel for years and it’s one of my top brands and go-to. It doesn’t leave your hair sticky or leaves any residue. It smells great and not overwhelming.
As for any hair and types, all products work differently and it’s about experimenting. I find myself not using a lot of gel when using this specific one and that’s what works best for me. Overall, I’m really impressed with this duo.

$17.50 for two tubes or curly products that live up to their stated uses! These products work well and smell good. I use mostly cream with a smaller amount of the gel on top. It’s a good everyday look. I usually don’t dry my rather short medium curly hair. These are as good as higher priced items from bumble and bumble.
At this price you won’t be disappointed. Low risk—must try.
