This was my favorite some years ago, then it seemed to vanish from the stores I frequent. Nice to see it now on Amazon. The current version seems a bit runnier than what I remember, but it is great stuff. I put some on dry skin and it quickly disappears while still providing moisture protection.

I’ve ordered this product twice now. The second was accidental as I was trying to avoid getting it from this vender again. It’s the best price I’ve found for Noxzema on Amazon, but the product appears to be watered down severely. I’ve used Noxzema since I was in middle school. Typically Noxzema is thick face cream. You can open the container and turn it upside down and the cream won’t pour out. Both times I’ve ordered Noxzema from this vender it has been nearly liquid. Some watery cream with a substantial bubble of watery liquid in the middle. Re-mixing it leaves you with a product with the viscosity of dairy creamer. Ive ordered it elsewhere on Amazon and the product is as it always was, so I suspect the issue its specific to this gender and may be why it’s the cheapest I’ve found.

I used this eons ago to help with sunburns and cleanse my teenage skin. Then I became a Cosmetologist and had to use all of the latest and greatest skin and hair care products I could get my hands on. (insert High Priced). For many years I used only thee best. How are they the best? By paying for advertisement space. Now that I’m aging, I see all of the hype of those expensive products didn’t keep me from showing some signs of age. Slight wrinkles are appearing, drier skin in areas, a bit of looser skin in areas. I thought: why have I wasted all of that money just to have ‘normal’ looking skin at my age? I remember using Noxzema and was happy with the cleansing and wiping off of the product, ease of use, the heavenly scent of menthol, camphor and eucalyptus; I returned back to it to try out. I’ve been using this about half-of-a-year now and love the results. My skin isn’t as dry in some spots but is evening out. The texture is finer. The color is more even. The rosacea is less noticeable. The small acne spots are less. Clogged pores are clear.
I will either spread it on dry skin (if lazy), or wet my face then spread it on. Use circular motions to work it into my skin. Then will use a moist gauze sponge (woven gauze sponge 4×4) to wipe away the cleanser. I’ll use good old Witch Hazel to use as a toner to get evey last bit off. If I have a bump forming, I’ll put a dab of Noxzema on before bed and leave it on to help clear it. I cleanse my face morning and night. My skin looks better now than it did with the expensive (exaggerated hype) products.
This says not to but…I will even spread this on and leave it there. It leaves a coating to help protect against wind burns or temperature changes (us with rosacea know this struggle. I even use this to soften elbows and knees. (now I have bought Jergen’s lotion and will use that and give a review after trying it for a while). I guess I’m getting nostalgic but I’m finding these 100 year old products work just as well as the latest (and greatest) products and are a LOT easier on the pocket-book. Of course I buy it in the 6-pack…never want to be without it.

I couldn’t find Noxzema anywhere in the stores in my province. I been using Noxzema on my face for almost 50 years and I was so happy I found it here and a better price than the local stores. I got 6 containers so I’m good for awhile.
