Pre-made gift sets like this can be a hit or miss. Sometimes you hit the jackpot and other times, you are stuck with a bunch of useless items that you would never want or use. This is definitely on the better end of the scale and would make such a lovely little surprise for any new mom in need of a little “me” time! 🙂
This set comes with orange and bergamot shower oil, lavender Epsom bath salts, shea butter and camelia body butter, pillow mist, fragrance roll on, and a silky eye mask.
The fragrances are pleasant and natural smelling. I appreciated that none of the products had a super strong artificial or headache inducing perfume scent.
The bath salts are great for taking a nice, hot bath to relieve tension and muscle aches. The lavender scent is noticeable in the packaging but not as strong once you add the salts to the water.
The shower oil was okay. This isn’t a product that I normally use. It does leave your skin feeling nourished and soft. I would have preferred a body wash over a shower oil but that is just my personal preference.
My favorite product was definitely the body butter! This stuff is heavenly! It’s thick, luxurious, and smells fantastic. I LOVE how hydrating it is and how soft it leaves my skin feeling. I would enjoy a gift set made up entirely of the body butter in different fragrances, LOL!
The pillow mist isn’t bad, just not something that I would typically use. Some may find the fragrance soothing and calming at bedtime. For me, it was just distracting and actually prevented me from being able to fall asleep.
I did enjoy the fragrance roll-on. It adds a little bit of fragrance to my skin without being overpowering. The citrus scent is pleasant and energizing.
The eye mask is on par with masks that you normally find in these kinds of sets. Not the highest quality on the market but better than dollar store cheapies.
