This is so much better buying the smaller plastic bottles every month. You get 36oz (1064ml, enough to refill your original 13oz ogx bottle 3 times), so not only do you save on plastic, you save on money and trips to the store. This is a large size pouch so I was worried I would have a hard time refilling my ogx bottle because of my weak hands and wrists but after setting it on the counter and tipping it, I didn’t have any problems. I had no spills or mess to clean up to so that’s a plus. It’s the same exact scent and ingredients as the smaller plastic shampoo bottle and I have always loved the smell of this shampoo, I can smell both the tea tree and mint and it smells amazing together. The tea tree is great for your scalp and I love the ingredients in this one. This shampoo leaves my hair and scalp feeling extra clean and smelling good without drying my hair out, but I do recommend the matching conditioner as well.
Overall, great value, less plastic, more product, same great ingredients and I would definitely recommend. Father shampoo is good for 18 months after opening.

I love the refill pouch. It is more eco friendly. I have very long hair so I have to use a lot of conditioner. This lasts a lot longer than a normal bottle of conditioner. It is a little difficult to set in the shower since it is so big, but it is intended to refill bottles. I like that this is eco friendly and aligns with the company. The product smells really nice and leaves my hair feeling soft.

I already loved this product! It is a very light green as opposed to the white color when it comes in the bottle. Order way, way, way in advance… This one took a long time to get to me 😁
Impressions & Observations –

This particular product is a refill of the OGX Conditioner. You will want to make sure that you have an empty bottle to transfer this to, as trying to use it from the bag would be extremely difficult. Just mentioning this so that you understand what you are ordering. The product itself is great. I love Tea Tree products because of the minty smell and the tingling feeling it leaves on your scalp, which leaves you feeling really clean and invigorated in the morning. Using this in the shower after you just wake up is like a cup of coffee to help get you going in the morning. As far as value, it’s ironically almost exactly the same cost in terms of cost per ounce (both around .43 cents/ounce as of this writing) as it would be to just buy a normal bottle of the same product (as opposed to the refill). That being said… your reason for buying this refill would be for eco-friendly reasons. There is a little bit of effort involved in squeezing the product out into a bottle. It’s like squeezing out a giant bag of toothpaste (though not quite as thick). If that’s not your thing, or if you don’t feel like transferring this product into another bottle, then you may want to just buy the normal bottle style of this product. Either way, the product is great and you will be very happy with it.

I like that this shampoo comes in a thin refill pack, rather than a full hard plastic bottle. Less waste packaging is a good thing. I waited until I had an empty bottle of shampoo and then refilled that bottle with this. It’s pretty easy to pour it in without making a mess.
The shampoo itself has a nice scent to it, not too strong. I have very oily hair and I’ve noticed that this shampoo doesn’t seem to cut the oils as well as other shampoos do.

Good product, but poor shipping. Sent a plastic pack of shampoo in a plastic bag. Arrived busted inside of package – go figure. What a mess. At least it smelled good.
