To everyone complaining about the smell and that it’s rock hard, I’ve purchased Shea butter from multiple companies and that’s typically just how Shea butter is. Unfortunately, it just doesn’t have a very pleasant smell by itself; melt it down and stir in some essential oils and it will be great! As far as it being hard, think about regular butter, it’s solid when cool or at room temperature but softens and melts with heat! It’s been great for my skin, protects and moisturizes so much better than drug store lotions! The first container of this I received was damaged, the lid was broken and there was a hole in the container but Amazon was quick to help me get a replacement!

Product was sealed in a plastic container, then heat sealed in plastic. Great attention to detail, couldn’t have escaped the packaging and I had a difficult time opening it without a knife.

The shea butter is excellent quality, smooth texture and melts in my hand in about a minute. It performs exactly the same as raw shea butter purchased from a man from Ghana at our local farmers market. His is not whipped and is more difficult to use because it breaks off in clumps and feels slightly gritty. It really is 17 ounces, comes in a 1 lb container thats filled to the very tip top.

This is a great buy and will continue to purchase shea butter from this seller because of the high quality of the product.

Thanks to this seller for providing a wonderful product at a competitive price!!!

The media could not be loaded.

You could tell this is the real deal but just slight smell of it and of course the feel of it.
I bought this while I was pregnant, hoping that this would prevent stretch marks, and seeing people making whipped body butter all over TikTok and I just had to do it, so I bought this, warmed it up in the pot and then put it in my stand mixer, added some oils, you could add what you like. I put vitamin E with jojoba, I didn’t have any sense, but you can. And Mixed whipped and stored actually back into the container and put the rest into another container because it made a lot after it was whipped was so easy to do, feels like better quality than store-bought that cost so much more. And it did help moisturize my skin on another level and last a super long time since it melts down like a oil on my skin

It needs to be rubbed into your palms to soften. Then it becomes a thick liquid that easily spreads. I use it instead of other moisturizers as it is pure without alcohol or other additives. It is a bit sticky for awhile but is absorbed with time. It leaves my hands, legs and face soft and reduces dryness.

شكلها مش زبدة الشيا الاصلية لانها ما رطبت بشرتي

This product is very thick and pasty, but is excellent in coating and protecting your skin from cold and chapping. It has a cocoa butter smell , which can be off putting for some folks, but I like it. Very effective in moisturizing and softening your skin. Didn’t come off on my clothes.

I personally prefer refined when making soap and bath products, but I get this product if I run out since soap suppliers take a while to ship, or if I want unrefined for a specific batch.

It’s good quality, and the price is decent. The small tubs are easy to work with. If you haven’t used natural butters before, be forewarned, they have a pretty intense smell. It’s not bad, per say, but it is distinct, and personally reminds me a bit of play doh or something. Theg also tend to have “detritus” in them, usually little specks and plant material. Once it’s melted, it’s easy enough for me to strain the bigger impurities out. I’m pretty sure I had a small spider in one batch, but that’s the nature of unrefined butter, so if that’s something that squicks you out, buy refined instead.

The color is more grey/beige than white, but again, that’s the nature of unrefined products. For my purposes, it works perfectly, especially since the lye in soap tends to kill everything. I probably wouldn’t use unrefined for lip balm or leave on products like body butter, unless I was really leaning into the “all natural” aspect.

    Update: 10/2023
My most recent batch had a good deal more “stuff” in it, little black specs, pieces of branches, etc.

    I will stick with PJ.
