I’ve used different olive oil soaps, sometimes they can smell very bland or earthy.
This particular soap has a fresher, smell with the same quality of pure olive oil soap.

This olive oil soap leaves my skin feeling really clean and moisturized without soapy residues. it has a mild earthy scent that is not overpowering in quality. I ordered the set of nine bars that the product description says are 5.7-ounce bars, but I received 5.3-ounce bars that are in the product description for the set of five bars that are sold as a different option. I returned this set of nine 5.3-ounce bars in an exchange, but I still received 5.3-ounce bars in the second shipment. I kept these, even though they do not match the product description for the set of nine bars. It’s still a discounted deal per bar as opposed to buying the 5-bar set. Again, beware that the product description for the 9-bar set is incorrect. The soap bars all weigh 5.3 ounces not matter which set that you might buy, whether the 5-bar or the 9-bar set.

This smells really mellow and makes my skin so smooth. I usually use lavender Castile soap, but this is becoming my new favorite. I don’t like anything too strong or with many chemicals added, and this definitely fits the bill. It lathers very nicely and lasts a fair amount of time, plus it’s affordable.

I love that it comes in a plain recyclable cardboard box. I love the few and simple but effective ingredients. I’ve noticed my sensitive, dry skin is moisturized (rather than dried out) after showering with it. It seems to rinse more cleanly (I do have soft water). This is a good thing since I’ve noticed more dry, itchy skin since the recent onset of menopause. The bars last a good long time, certainly as long as any other bar soap IF you don’t leave it sitting in water. I highly recommend this product. Love the simple ingredients. Lathers and doesn’t dry out my hands. Just what I was looking for. My only gripe is it can get soft and mushy, causing it to make a mess in the soap holder at times. Might be how I am using it. Still giving it five stars because it’s better than all other soaps I have tried.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I have to with this product.
I purchased these bars of soap because they’re so much purer and have fewer ingredients than any of the brands I was using. I’ve been shedding hair for the last year or so at such a high rate that I had to clear the drain of clumps of hair at least two times during one shower to allow the water to go down. I’d been purchasing some very expensive and chemical-filled shampoos to try to help my hair not be so thin and flat, but when I read that this soap can be used as a hair wash I decided to try it.
Upon the very first use, I noticed far less hair in the drain and after about three uses now, I can’t help but notice how clean and buoyant my hair feels and looks. I now don’t have to use the volumizing mousse I had been using, or any other styling products. I did still use my conditioner to get this effect, but I will certainly be looking for a purer, more natural conditioner to supplement my new routine.

My skin has never felt so good or looked so clear.
I was having trouble with breakouts and I was just over being a 30-something with worse skin than a highschooler. Also, I have eczema. Side note: I’m a licensed esthetician. I should be able to handle these issues, easily, as I’ve done in the past.
Well, I started looking at my skincare regimen. Everything i was using had some type of fragrance or emulsifier or additive that I just couldnt pronounce, so I took everything I was using and put it in quarantine. Ordered this soap and used it on my face and body. When I get out of the shower, I put pure aloe on my face, and nothing else. After 2 weeks my skin was completely clear and glowing and lovely.
I will say, I’m a bit mad that I now feel as though I should throw away like $100 in skincare and beauty products from my bathtub because they are doing more harm than good to my skin. But the good thing is that this soap is super inexpensive compared to all that other stuff in the bath and I will now have a nice organized tub since all I need is this bar of soap. Yay!
Also, I gifted out 2 of these bars to friends that I thought should try it. The bars are packaged so nicely! It would make a nice gift at Christmas. Spend $12 and you have 6 amazing bars of soaps to gift, each in their own beautiful box! (Which side note.. unless you’re gifting them, the boxes seem like a waste of resources. But that’s probably a whole new subject.)
The scent is neutral. The soap feels good and lasts a while. Get it! You wont be disappointed.
