Have been using Glide for years due to sensitive gums. After Oral B bought them, they started offering the product at Costco, not in original version, but in “new”, “improved” or “optimized” different versions. Every one of them we tried was inferior–either with reduced cleaning due to being so smooth with no friction, or new materials of weak strength which would annoyingly break multiple times as you floss.
Thank you Amazon, for offering the original–at a good value as well.

i don’t skimp on floss, as i consider this brand and this version the best on the market, as far as my own personal preference goes (everybody’s different).
when i got older, i found it worked best to double up the strand.
and now that i’m REALLY old, i make it into a triple strand! (then why don’t u use the ‘floss tape’, u ask? reasonable question, thank u. because i tried it, & hated it.)
i floss & brush once a day, when i shower. i have a prophylaxis every 3 months. my dentist says my dental hygience is excellent, & i don’t need a prophy so often. two or three times a year would be fine. but i like 4 times a year. PERSONAL PREFERENCE.
i know there are many people in the USA who don’t floss. it’s a mistake. my advice is start, and get in the habit. why? because ur dental hygiene directly affects the health of every part of ur body (look it up; it’s true -especially cardiac health & vision health).
i’ve traveled all over the world, and my observation is that most people, in most countries, floss (and that it’s got nothing to do whatsoever with ‘poor’ country or ‘rich’ country, ‘educated’ or ‘uneducated’). it’s just about flossing!

Antes comprábamos el de color gris de esta misma marca, aunque aquel resbalaba mejor entre los dientes, éste dura mucho más (50 metros cada cajita) y ni el diente más dañado por caries puede quebrar este hilo, una chulada. Recuerden usar hilo siempre, una de las mejores inversiones de tu vida.
