For what it is designed for, this product is as good as any on the market, but it may cost a little bit more. The big problem with the product, though, is the batteries. They are NiMH rechargeable batteries, and, even though they can be recharged many times, they do not last forever. Eventually, they won’t hold a significant charge any longer. So, you think you can just replace the batteries? Not so fast. Oral B put a two cell battery pack in this unit for which they do not sell a replacement. Even if they did, it is a bit complicated for the average person to disassemble the device in order to get at the batteries. Most people wouldn’t bother, and I get the sense that is what Oral B is counting on. The batteries inside are the same, 1.2 volt batteries in other units they sell, but these are assembled together into a “pack” that is then soldered permanently into the unit. Difficult to get at, (not impossible), and more difficult to get out if you do not own a soldering iron, or have soldering skills.
This product is just fine if you don’t mind paying $90 or $100 for an item that may last two years under regular use. It is good for travel.

I was just fitted for Invisalign braces. I was told by my dentist that I needed to get a water flosser in order to ensure that my teeth stay clean while I am going through the process. I use this in addition to regular floss before I brush my teeth. It works well and I’m glad I purchased it. The reason why I purchased this one is because it’s the brand that was promoted in the office. However, I did purchase it from Amazon for $10 less. The only caveat is the reservoir is small and you have to refill it a couple of times in order to get the job done. Hence the one star reduction. However I would recommend it.

Still works. It’s starting to have trouble turning on, but I fidget with it and it works.
I got this to replace my WaterPik which stopped working and I didn’t have the receipt to claim it. This one works well and I have no major complaints.

I purchased and loved this product for 8 months but suddenly it started not stopping and finally when it stopped it never started again. The durability of this product is only 8 months and this is tooo expensive for something that expensive. Disappointed by OralB.

This water flosser is quite solid but unless there’s something wrong with it using it is different. One has to hold the button down the whole time one is trying to clean one’s teeth. Turning on the device and just letting it clean isn’t in the design.
