I love this product so much!! It’s definitely tacky when you spray it on (so a little goes a long way) but don’t let that scare you! After you apply heat (I use it with my high temp curling wand) it leaves your hair so shiny and healthy looking plus it makes my curl stay in so much longer. Yes it’s a bit pricey but worth every penny and honestly, mine lasts around 4-5 months! As long as I use a high heat tool, I’ll always use this.

This is kind of weird to use, but I really like it. I live in the south, so humidity can wreak havoc on my hair. This spray helps to keep a lot of the frizz out as well as holds the shape. I section off my hair and spray each section. It is VERY sticky, like you just covered your hair in a spider web. I then use the flat iron or curling wand. The heat gets rid of thy stickiness and I am left with very soft hair. Again, in the humidity, curls do fall out a little but it does prevent the frizz from taking over. The only thing I don’t like is that it is hard to comb each section of hair once you spray it on.

I’ve used this product before so I am familiar as to its effectiveness. It REALLY holds the hair, even in the humid weather of Florida. It is a hard hold and not real comb-able but if its hold you’re after (like you need on a really humid day) this product does not disappoint.

I have thin fine hair and while it is expensive, last bottle was purchased a year ago. It’s the best product for hold. But make sure that you are happy with your style before spraying because it’s not easy to fix a problem afterwards.

  5. JG

A bit pricey but worth it. This spray really locks in my curls when I need and holds up even in humid weather.

I love this brand but this spray makes my hair so sticky I can’t get the straightening iron through smoothly.

It does everything it says , can’t be without it, only gave 4 stars because it is so expensive .But I will keep using it as long as I can afford to.

  9. Ana S.

Any time I use this on my hair, my hair comes out so stiff and sticky and lifeless. It makes my ends particularly so stiff, and results in such a terrible styling outcome. I love Oribe products so I’m surprised that this one is absolutely terrible unless you just want a crazy amount of hold and don’t want soft hair that doesn’t feel like it’s been styled. Would not recommend unless you’re going to be a debutant or in a beauty pageant.
