This is a great way to put your hair away while you sleep. It doesn’t cause my nexk to hurt due to an awkward sleeping position.
There is a metal hook and eye to secure the top part.
It doesn’t have as tight of a hold as flexible rods do and my hair didn’t curl with this, but I’d definitely use it as a way to tuck in my ends as I sleep.

I have used heatless curlers before. The one I usually use is a single roll and you split your hair in half and roll up on each side and then tie up the roll. You can use the single roll type on wet hair and then sleep on it.
This set is easier to use in some ways. But still tricky in their own way. You don’t want to use them on hair just out of the shower. You want a slightly damp head of hair. Just spritzing your hair with water works well. It doesn’t have to be super wet.
These are velveteen covered foam with a wire in the center and an hook and eye closure. You roll a chunky section of your hair up on the roller and then curve the ends together and attach the hook and eye – that’s the hard part. Once you get the hang of it, it goes easier.
The funny thing is you look like a lady from the 1940’s especially with the front section of hair. You get rolls of hair. They are pretty easy to sleep on.
I find it best to do them overnight to get a good curl. But you can get a curl after a few hours if you just lightly spritzed your hair. The curls are soft and a little more wavy than curly. If you use product, you might get a more defined curl, but I tend not to use much but some Frizz Ease.
These are good if you want to save your hair from any heat damage. But the curl won’t be as strong as when you use heated tools. Depends on what look you want. I like these especially if you just want to amp up the volume of your hair before going out.

The fabric on these rollers is very soft. It’s fabulous that there is a brown, a black and a beige in the set; because it lets at least one roller be used for styles during the day.
I was able to wrap my hair around one roller in a way that it was the base for a style that I couldn’t have achieved any other way. It made it look like I have more hair than I do and allowed me to keep the curler in for 24 hours. When I took the curler out, I had gentle waves at the end of my hair – but no real curls. I have other products that give me better curls and styles during the day.
To get 5 stars from me, I need to be wowed. I’ll use the curlers, but they aren’t something I’m likely to buy again. For me, it it a bit difficult to use the hook to secure the curler and hard to start wrapping the hair around the curler.

I’ve had the the single long Beatles curling rods that work great. These do not work good. I thought it was user error but I’ve never had issues with other ones. I’ve tried sectioning them out, tried with damper hair, dryer hair, I just can’t achieve a nice curl or look.

I would be lost without these. I use them everyday and they work really well. They are soft and you get 4 for the price. You can wash them to keep them clean. It really doesn’t take any effort to use at all.
