I am over 55 yrs old African American woman and this product burned my face. Left some dark patch like spots. As I was trying to clear up very small sun spots. After a sun burn from a cruise. Not sure what’s in it, but I will not be finishing this product. Before using you might want to test it on your arm, and use a base oil.

So the listing doesn’t actually state that this is a moisturizer. I bought this hoping to replace my current moisturizer to add the bonus of dark spot remover to my skincare routine. The first time I used this was after my morning shower and I tried to put my makeup on over it. BIG MISTAKE. It does not go on well under makeup!!! So I use this now as part of my nighttime skincare routine. It seems to be working great so far to help even my skin tone and fade some spots. I have acne scars and sun damage.

I’ve been using this for a couple of months now and I haven’t noticed my dark spots fading. I’m still trying to find a product that will do just that. But in the mean time, I still like using it as a moisturizer at night after I wash my face for some added moisture. It’s pretty thick so you really don’t need that much. It also has a nice scent that’s not overpowering at all.

Let me just start by saying that I tried really hard to like this product. I have always loved Palmer’s products and was so excited to get this in the mail. That being said, this product did not live up to my expectations.
First of all, this product claims that it can be worn under makeup and is lightweight. I found this product to be extremely thick and clumpy on my skin. I had to really work in the product in order for it to smooth down, which caused my skin to be a little irritated. After applying makeup over this product, my makeup was also clumped in the areas the the moisturizer was clumped.
Secondly, as already mentioned, this product irritates my skin. I do not usually have sensitive skin, but this product kind of stung and made my skin a little red.
On a good note, this product has a nice subtle, sweet scent and did provide good hydration that lasted all day.
Overall, I was disappointed in this purchase, just be careful if you have sensitive skin or plan to use underneath makeup.

I have used for about 10 years off and on. When used my face has a beautiful youthful glow and I’m 58 years old. Just please don’t raise the price

I love this stuff! I like it works wonders. The package says to put it in twice daily but I’ve only been putting it on once and I think it works good. It definitely lightens up my dark spots on my skin without it hurting or anything. The lotion doesn’t smell the greatest so I’d definitely put it on right before bed or you shower so you can wash it off after it works its magic. It took about 2 weeks before I started noticing a difference.
