I started using Palmer’s Cocoa Butter after I had surgery on one of my ankles. I noticed that my physical thereapist used it on my leg, and the scar as soon as it was fully closed. I still use it, 5 years later. It is excellent for my skin, as well as the scars.

– suitable for dry skin
– Best if used sparingly, take a small amount and rub into palm to melt then apply to body, its better to add more then to waste the body butter by using too much and then having to wipe away the excess.
– Holds in moisture when applied directly after bathing/showering
Cons:
– if too much coco butter is applied it can feel greasy, this can be rectified by applying less or using a towel to lighting wipe away the excess.
Grew up using this and please to find it being sold at a good price.

I was unable to get a bonus size cocoa butter for a decent price outside of NY. Now found this and order 2 which lasts me a year. I use this one heels mainly. During the fall/winter I use it more often to help moisturize my skin, the only thing that really keeps my skin soft and moisturized. The scent is typical cocoa butter smell and consistency is great. Store in a room temperature area, if not it will melt down. Gives you a great glow too if you want that sun kissed look.
