Received my new Parker Fusion razor today WOW! Until A few years ago I used A double edge razor. I tried A Gillett fusion . A great shave with few nicks if any. But I missed the heft of the old double edge. Well this new Deluxe Black Fusion Razor has full filled that need. It weighs A full 4.5 oz. and if you have large hands, as I do, well it is A full 4 inches long and with the slip resistance handle. It feels comfortable and it looks good , real good. This item is well worth its price

I’ve long wanted a more stylish handle for one of the few things that I have used consistently since I started shaving as a young man, but I’ve been put off by the sales tactics and high prices of some other options. This Parker handle fits the sweet spot where design and touch of luxury are offered at a reasonable price. It has a substantial feel and quality, and it can stand on its own upright in the medicine cabinet or on the counter without the need for a separate stand.

Was going to give 3 stars. Awkward to use, as you have to press to get a good shave. Razor is too far from the handle.
* Can’t return, so it gets 1 star.

I’ve been using the Fusion razors since they first came out. Prior to that I went back and forth between electric shavers and various bladed razors, never being completely satisfied with either. All in all, he fusion blades have been great, but it took a couple extra passes to get as close a shave as I wanted. A few months ago, after being bombarded by all their advertising, I ordered the Harry’s shaving system. I thought it was worth a try. Unfortunately, the blades on those razors were too flexible and it took even longer and more effort to get the shave I wanted. I used the Harry’s razor for several weeks as they suggested, but came away unsatisfied. So I returned to the fusion blades, still feeling there was something better. Then one day I came across this Parker handle on Amazon. I was a little leery of spending this much money at first, but after reading the few reviews I decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did. It’s a hefty handle, and the added weight is just enough to get the results I want. Instead of three or four passes to get the desired shave I’m getting it in one or two, without any added pressure against the blade. I would definitely recommend this razor handle.

The Razor shaft is a bit longer and the extra length allows for a very comfortable and nice shave.

Nice weight, chrome a little plastic but the grip is good. Would be great to have a full metal (steel) handle for the Fusion blades, but I get that the investment by Parker may not be equal the demand. Nonetheless much better than than the normal handles.

I like the weight, balance, and heft. This handle definitely feels better in my hand than the “stock” handle. Having said that, however, the resulting shave really isn’t any better than before, so I’m not sure it’s worth the expense. After having used it for a while I wouldn’t buy it again unless it were at a much lower price point.

This razor handle is very well made, is heavy in the hand, and aesthetically refined. I love it! It’s easily as solid as any Art of Shaving razor but the price is reasonable. If you are looking for a quality razor handle for a fusion 5 razor, this is your ticket. Looks great, feels great, priced right.

The handle is really well built, has a lot of weight, and easy to hold. I deducted stars because it doesn’t allow the razor blade to move side-to-side (laterally) only up-and-down. If you look at the standard razor handle that comes with Fusion 5, you can see that the handle allows the blade to move both side-to-side and up-and-down, so this handle, even though much nicer, lacks the additional movement. I consider this to be a big flaw in the design and causes the razor blade to be more rigid and easier to nick yourself even though the handle itself is high quality.
