Comes in a cute little bag and is fun. But it just rips out my hair. And once I’ve combed my hair it does nothing for my curl pattern at all. Same result as a brush or regular comb.

The size is smaller than expected but, perfect for natural curls. The design was thought out for curly hair. It’s like a pick but with larger teeth.
The long teeth and spacing allows for combing out the tangles without combing out the curl.
Comfortable in the hand and works perfectly when using hair products. This comb raised my interest to other Pattern products.

This might be the best comb I’ve ever used in my life! As you can see from the picture, my old cheap comb was struggling and was on its last legs. Rather than getting another cheaply made one, I opted to treat myself to this Pattern comb after extensive research and comparisons! And let me tell you, I was not disappointed one bit — in fact, I was blown away!
I have straight wavy hair on the thicker side and style it in a comb over, but this brush still works great and feels buttery soft gliding through my hair. It is super robust and top notch if you can’t already tell by the picture. I will now likely also be purchasing the larger model as well so this smaller one can be my travel one thanks to the really nice travel pouch provided by Pattern, free of charge! Do yourself a favor and buy one of these combs!

First of all shame on you for not promoting more because I feel like I’ve wasted hundreds of dollars over the years after one use! As a mixed woman with thick hair, even when straightened, I cannot be more brutally honest by saying this comb will surpass your expectations. How many people have typed in “extra wide tooth comb” and always find combs with the exact same width? Even though they may be great combs, like the cricket comb in my comparison photo, you still are left wondering why it feels like you’re shedding a lot of hair but my hair still isn’t combed out completely? I section my hair horizontally starting from the bottom when combing out & wether it’s wide tooth combs, denman brushes, the unbrush or detangling brushes I’m always questioning myself if I’m shedding more hair or if I’m not doing something right. This was the first time I’ve used a comb that actually detangled everything & when I combed after it’s been detangled, there was no extra hair was being pulled out or shedding, like I just went to the salon.
I’m not a hair maintenance savant, nor do I have the attention span to watch tutorial videos and the arm strength or patience to make my hair as beautiful and healthy as the pros or semi pros. I’m (coughs) getting older so I’m a little more sensitive and weary about hair loss than I used to be. So I mean I know it’s normal to lose about 100 strands a day, lol but I don’t count them, I just feel a little more comfortable & confident that this comb really did its job without taking out more hair than necessary. Plus it’s under $30 & lighter to carry in my purse or mini backpack!!

Great white tooth comb for any type of hair. Detangles wet hair with ease and is great for comb-outs after a roller set. The teeth are smooth and don’t rake the scalp, but give a nice massage. I have purchased 3 of these combs so I have one everywhere I am – work, home, travel bag. It’s too big to fit in a handbag which is the only downside, but I highly recommend this comb.
