I’m definitely not a Salon type of guy, but I do know what works for me. I decided to give this Paul Mitchell product a try when I spotted it on Amazon as being available. I’m subject to having a dry scalp and for an older gentleman my salt and pepper colored hair is pretty thick. Luckily, I don’t have any dandruff associated with my dry scalp but over the past number of years about once or twice a day I generally get the urge to scratch my entire scalp vigorously. In the past I have gone with the drug store brands of shampoos and conditioners, name brands that you would recognize but would never find in a salon. While I’ve bounced around from one brand to another looking for a solution, all of them promise to improve your dry scalp condition, but over time, usually to no avail.
My wife, being a life-time client of salons, had previously suggested trying the Paul Mitchell brand since the high-end salons seem to use them with their clientele and it’s apparently worked for them since from my research, Paul Mitchell has been providing quality hair products for all hair types for over 40 years.
Last year I had reviewed a shampoo that I had found on Amazon with the promise of being a high-end moisturizing and conditioning shampoo and it seemed to work for me for several months but then the itching sensation slowly began returning. So here I am hoping that between using the Clean Beauty Scalp Conditioner and their Clean Beauty Scalp Therapy Drops I will have a lasting effect in relieving the sporadic itching I’ve had for years. I can say that with my first use I enjoyed the minty scent and it’s much thicker than the cheaper brands that I’ve relied on in the past. I’ve read that I maybe shampooing to often and maybe I should try skipping the shampoo every other time I’m showering and just going with the conditioner in conjunction with each shower. At the moment after using this conditioner along with their scalp therapy drops, I can admit that the itching seems to be subsiding. I’m hoping that this will be a long-term solution but since I’ve lived with a blood cancer for almost 13 years and oral chemo for just short of 6 of those years I’ll just have to wait and see.

has a cooling property that really calms down my itchy scalp. its not drying at all, and makes my hair feel super soft. i want to get the shampoo so i can get the full results from this line, but so far the conditioner really helps. i feel like the amount of product for the price could be better but its honestly as expected from a salon brand.

Had itchy scalp – this is the only thing that relieved it. Also ok to use with color treated hair. Will only use this from now on

This conditioner makes my hair feels really good. It gives a nice slip for me to detangle my matted hair.
The scent is light and pleasant , I love it .

Cool, minty, tingly, and refreshing. Somewhat difficult to spread evenly. Hair comes out smooth and soft. Not my favorite conditioner, but a great option I’ll keep around.
