One of the best straightening products I have ever used but not much of a heavy fragrance so, no parfume clashing! I personally love the lack of fragrances but if you love a heavy perfume smell in your hair products this isn’t for you. It’s not greasy at all but not drying. My hair is very thick, confused wanna be curly and frizzy and this worked incredibly well and kept my hair smooth for 2 days. It worked better than I expected and my hair felt wonderfully soft and was incredibly straight. I did add the product, blow dryed it straight with my larger round brush, add a little more of the product evenly throught my hair a send time, then I straightened with my flat iron. That’s how I chose to do it bec ause it’s the only process I’ve has work on my Hermione Granger 1st year type of hair. Also a liitle of this cream and Paul Mitchell Round Trip and let it dry naturally, works to calm gross and curls if you’re in a rush. I’ll post and add pictures soon.

    Pros:
I’ve been using this product for about 15 years. It’s my absolute favorite from Paul Mitchell. It’s got a smoothing gel type texture, so it’s not oily on your hair. A dime size is really all you need, and I’ve got long hair. You can either blow dry your hair, or you can let it air dry, either way my hair always feels silky afterward. If I don’t use it I can definitely see a difference. It smooths and helps control it as well, whether you straighten or curl or neither.
Cons: I wonder if it’s not a popular product for sales because I can never get it in stores. Ulta will have it occasionally but never more than two or three bottles at a time.

My wife isn’t super picky about hair products but in this case after trying it from a friend she said I LOVE THIS STUFF! That’s all a good husband needs to hear so I jumped on amazon and ordered up a few bottles for her, makes a world of difference for her when using her flat iron to achieve a smooth straight look without spending a ton of time messing with it. Just ordered a few more up for Christmas, she doesn’t know it but I am always watching her stockpile in the drawer to keep it full 🙂

I haven’t touched my hair for over 30 years and moused my curly hair, crunched and let it air dry. At 55, I finally started to color my hair as I tried to hold off as long as I could and didn’t have a lot of gray. Then 6 years later I started to Keratin but only in summer. I found this product and started to use. I love it. Not really sticky, slightly. Not too drying although anything over a period of time will dry out your hair. After the keratin started to wear out, I continued to use and blow dry my hair straight. Has more body without keratin, but takes longer to dry and get straight. I never looked at this as something that “straightens” my hair. It is a tool to help you blow dry your hair straight. I use a lot less when my hair is keratin straight>. When its starts fading I have to add a little more. But over time, I learned a little less is better. You don’t need a lot to help keep the frizz and straighten. I, however, have very fine, thin hair but very curly and a lot of it. If your hair is very thick and coarse, you may need a lot more. try it!

I bought this to replace Design Line Press It straightening cream as they no longer make that product. I have so many allergies to products but Paul Mitchell I can use without an issue. It is a clear gel that is thick and it only takes a dime size amount. It smooths my hair and helps to hold my hair in any way that I style it. I do not notice any scent from this product and I will purchase it again.

I used Aquage Straightening Gel for years and was mostly happy with it. However, the quality changed and the price kept increasing. I figured I would try this and was very pleased with it. It has no scent (I do like the Aquage scent) and it holds my pixie in place without being too goopy or feeling like just silicone. Will definitely use it going forward. Was pleasantly surprised.

  10. Monica

  11. Michael Nagle

I’ve used this for a while now. It’s pretty effective at keeping my hair somewhat neat but not overly styled. I use it with some stiff stuff 4-5 drops plus two of the stiff stuff and I’m good for the day. It’s not overly heavy either.

  12. Petunia

I have been using this for a long time and use it for both when I wear my hair curly or straight. I find that it makes my hair look voluminous and holds the style longer. It has a neutral smell and one tube probably lasts me at least 6 months. I have shoulder length, coarse hair so I’m getting good value for my money

  13. Adali

Buen producto.
