I haven’t really seen a difference in spot reduction but my skin seems to take this cream well with respect to hydration and calming redness. I found this cream through a dermatologist’s TikTok so take this review for what that’s worth. Please note that the 0.17 size is barely enough for a week’s vacation but that’s it – it’s a very tiny tube. It looks like a sample tube.

I have very sensitive combination aging skin (late 30s and spent my 20s in the sun- paying for it now). This helps pores, acne and melasma. While it’s not a miracle, it makes a noticeable difference and is an impressive product. I use 2-3 times a week at nighttime over top my moisturizer- I just ordered my 2nd full size bottle. Lasts a long time and the product spreads so well, a little goes a long way.
Tips: don’t use alone; it’s meant to be mixed with or put with moisturizer- don’t put under eyes- always use sunscreen over top if using during the day, and always use spf the following day after using (use spf daily, regardless!) And, Don’t mix or layer with other actives.
Also: To the comments complaining about the size of the small/trial option- It is actually amazing and greatly appreciated that Paula’s Choice offers trial sizes, majority of high name skincare brands do not and I wish they would.
Her trial size options are something I love about this company- not to mention, her pricing is very fair considering the quality of the product’s performance and the quality of the ingredients.
The trial sizes are NOT a bad thing!

I have oily skin and get hormonal break outs and maskne. I mix this with my moisturizer and it’s honestly helped calm my skin down SO MUCH. I find my complexion has improved too. And I’ve been using it less than a month! Don’t forget to wear sunscreen if you use it in the day like I do!

I am beyond disappointed by this product. After reading the reviews I expected this to remove red spots/acne marks from my skin. I didn’t see any noticeable changes at the start so I waited… and waited… aaaand waited.
It has been a month and a half and my skin still looks the same. I paid a ridiculous amount of money for a miniscule fragment of a supposedly effective treatment and let it slide, but enough is enough.
I’m never buying this product (or any of Paula’s Choice products for that matter) ever again.

The product itself is excellent, but you only get a very tiny tube. It’s sample size. I was disappointed with the amount of product I received.

I regret not having read the negative reviews on the internet before purchasing this product. I have been dealing with hormonal acne and thought this product might help me. I decided to order it in a travel size to test it out. However, after using it, I didn’t feel a burning sensation, but instead felt worse. Within minutes, my heartbeat increased, I started shaking, and felt anxious. I didn’t find any information about these side effects on the product website or other reviews. I had to search on the internet to validate if these reactions were caused by the product.
So this is my suggestion: If you have asthma or other breathing problems, be careful when using this product. Because it can increase feelings of anxiety, difficult breathing and/or cause a fast heartbeat.
I contact the Amazon customer service and they help me with the return process.

I’ve tried a whole lot of products but nothing showed immediate results like this did. Took away all redness which has plagued me for a decade. My skin is so light and even toned, it almost looks bleached because I’m just so used to redness. I mix it with a niacinamide serum after toner and before moisturizing and it has not only softened my skin, it has changed the texture. Once again, Paula’s Choice absolutely knocks it out of the park.
Edited in Nov to add: after two months, I switched mixing it with my serum to mixing it with my moisturizer and it seems to yield better results that way, even though I didn’t think it could get any better! Helps even the skin tone and texture and mattifies my final step even when mixed with a heavy moisturizer that usually leaves my skin shiny. I’m 38, daughter is 14 and we both use this daily. It’s a must-have staple in both our daily routines and even with two people using it twice daily, this little tube lasts us about 3 months. It’s a little pricey but totally worth every penny.
