I’ve only used this for a little while, but I wanted to leave my initial thoughts. My skin leans oilier than that of most people who probably use this particular oil, but I do experience dehydration and occasional mild flakey patches from tretinoin or seasonal transitions.

The moisture it provides is pretty fantastic, and in the short time I’ve been using it, I’ve noticed that my skin looks a little dewier during the day. I started using it mixed into my moisturizer, then switched to spreading over the top of my moisturizer; I prefer the latter. One or two drops is enough for me, and if I use more than that, it takes a while to soak in. My skin just isn’t that thirsty, I especially with products underneath.

I suspect I’ll end up dropping it in a few months during the height of summer and picking it back up in the fall, but I do plan to keep using it now while my skin is dryer. I’ll update my review if my opinions change with long term use.

ETA: summer has come and gone, and when winter came I started using this as a serum underneath my moisturizer. Even better!

As a younger woman I had somewhat oily skin and would NEVER have thought to put anything oily on my face, even though my skin is somewhat drier in my later years.

My daughter found a face oil that she loved and recommended it to me. To my surprise, I loved it, too, but the cost was outrageous. I checked the ingredients and compared them with those in Paula’s Oil, and was delighted to see many repetitions PLUS Paula has added PEPTIDES, which are one of the few ingredients actually proven to improve wrinkles, (NOT just to affect the “appearance” of wrinkles, which is a lesser standard).

I am using this by itself on my face and hands twice a day, along with an application of PC’s hyaluronic acid, layering the two. Then I use Paula’s lightly tinted sunscreen, Resist Super-Light Daily Wrinkle Defense SPF 30. Allowing each product to soak in, it dries to a gentle matte finish. I don’t need foundation, but sometimes use a bit of translucent powder.

At night, after the hyaluronic acid and moisture oil, I use a light night cream and Paula’s Resist Anti-Aging Eye Cream. It is thick so I warm it a bit in my hand before applying it.

I am 68 years old. Attaching a photo of myself taken three months ago, no makeup. (I did have a sore eye, as you may notice in my photo. Of course, it had nothing to do with my skincare routine!)

This is hydrating and feels nice after using the toner and exfoliator. I use it before the cream moisturizer for the very dry skin. It feels great.

When I received the product, it came with another item in a packing sleeve and the packaging was crushed. When I opened the glass container of the serum was fine, but the applicator/dropper that came with the product was crushed and deformed so that it cannot fit on the top of the jar. Have to use the applicator/dropper separately.

I love this oil to finish off skincare oat night of before putting on make up. It is so hydrating and smooths out some texture on my face.

Enhances moisturizer with spf’s in them, that usually seem drying. Add a few drops, & I feel the difference.

I’m a big fan of the Paula’s Choice line, so when the opportunity to use my points came along I applied them to the purchase of this wonderful product. I use it in conjunction with some of her other products and get amazing results – my skin never looked better. PC has a foundation that I like although it’s consistency is a little thick, but by adding a couple of drops of this oil it’s very easy to apply and looks great. Having rosacea-prone skin, I find that Paula’s products are a very effective solution for me.

I bought this because it was recommended by Wayne Goss on a youtube video. He stated to put one or two drops in your foundation, I found that it does better just one drop applied lightly to the face/neck after my bare minerals moisturizer has soaked in. I tend to break out easily-and this has never caused any acne/clogged pores. It makes makeup go on so much smoother, with no pulling…and the BEST part is that there is no shine or oiliness after foundation is applied. Wonderful product and great seller!
