This company/product was unknown to be until I went to get a facial (a treat I bought myself for the first time) The product is amazing. I noticed a difference in just a few days. I have gone to Ulta, Skin Care Mary Kay, Avon, Clean and Clear, Proactive, etc. They all have the same thing in common. They do not balance the pH of your skin, they add things to it. They add moisture, add lotion, add chemicals to help reduce acne, add color to make it look pretty/smell pretty, add granules to scrub skin….none of these things have ever worked for me. I quit wearing makeup because it wasn’t making any difference (either it melted off due to extra lotion/moisture, or it caked on causing more acne) I have small dry skin pores (according to the facial lady), but I produce a lot of oil (I know because I live with my face). I have not had the courage to try anything new because it is all expensive and I was tired of it hurting or not doing anything. Once you use the $40 bottle of soap or lotion it is bought and you cannot return it. This one (due to the fact it was at a facial spa place) looked expensive but Oil of Olay was more expensive. $30 dollars for that one jar of soap (called a bar for some reason). All it does is put your skin back to its natural pH. It doesn’t try to add or subtract anything to your face, just antibacterial pH soap. My skin brightened, and repaired itself because it was no longer being bombarded by chemicals or lotions trying to change my skin’s function. pH antibacterial soap.
Wonderful. I ran out, and got frustrated because the facial place was far away from my new residence, so I tried a few more ($40 and $38 and $20) soaps recommended by Ulta or friends. Nope, still didn’t work for me. I ordered this soap online and cannot WAIT to use it once more. A picture here of my skin wouldn’t do justice. No Shipping and Handling cost, just the $30. It lasted 9 months for me, but they said it would supply for a whole year. Nine months is MUCH more than Ulta/Oil of Oley/CVS/Avon/etc products advertized.
I am glad I can buy it here on Amazon and don’t have to go driving around looking for another spa to make my face behave once again.

I have just recently been struggling from acne because of my birth control. After i started taking the depo shot i began breaking out bad around my chin and jaw line (sign of hormonal acne). So i began my search, started getting facials, and began my battle. After about 9 months, I found the PERFECT system!!
In the morning: Use pca blemish control bar (make sure you rub it in good so you have a thick foam and leave on for the FULL 2 mins!)
-Follow with obagi clenzaderm toner (it burns like hell and may dry you out at first but stick through it!)
    – ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS use a moisturizer! many people with oil skin think they can skip the moisturizer NO! Not using moisturizer only tricks your skin into thinking it’s dry and it will produce MORE oils! for the day time i prefer mac oil control moisturizer it also has spf in it.

In the evening: cleanse with pca bpo cleanser. It’s important to alternate between these two cleansers so your skin doesn’t build up a tolerance to the acne medication.
-Follow with the obagi clenzaderm toner again.
    – Then use pca acne spot treatment cream if you have any little monsters under your skin.
    – Finally, use pca clearskin moisturizer. This is a nice thick moisturizer that’s non greasy and will keep your skin from getting dry or peeling from the acne medication and it also helps the healing process.

This has been the perfect balance of acne treatments, my blackheads on my nose have vanished, and i have no more cystic acne along my jaw line or chin! This has been a life saver with the combination of BPO, salycilic acid, and naturally healing ingredients, it really is the perfect combination!

I’ve had a problem with acne since I was a teenager. Birth control pills have controlled it for many years, but recently I quit taking them so…my skin has been a wreck! I get cyst-like bumps around my jawline and on my chin. I don’t seem to be able to stop myself from picking them, so they get red/purple, inflamed and painful. I’ve tried every over-the-counter remedy I could find. I was getting ready to go to a dermatologist when my sister-in-law recommended PCA Skin Blemish Control Bar.

I can’t say enough about how much this has helped my complexion! You wash your face and leave the lather on your skin for two minutes with the enclosed sponge. The sponge is a little abrasive (not too much though) and the lather is very creamy and rich. It’s smell is very medicinal, but not objectionable. You only get two sponges with the package, so you have to reuse them. I wash my face and then rinse the sponge well. I keep in on a soap dish with perforations so that it will dry well. The package says you should use twice a day.

I started using it twice a day but found that I got way too dry. I now use it just once a day — in the shower. I wash my face and then do my hair while I’m leaving the lather sit on my skin. I’ve been following it up with

PHaze 7: Protecting Hydrator SPF 25

, also at my SIL’s recommendation, but truthfully I think any good moisturizer would be fine. (My skin gets a little flaky if I don’t use a moisturizer at all.) Then I use my makeup (I use

Bare Escentuals Get Started Kit, Medium/Medium Beige

) as usual. At night, I just use

Neutrogena Liquid Pump Facial cleansing formula 8 fl oz

followed by the moisturizer again. I started to notice improvement in about two weeks.

I’ve been using it for about two months now. I still get an occasional break-out, but now I get “normal” pimples and not the cysts that I usually get. My skin has been a little dry, but excess oil was never my problem. If you have oily skin, it would probably help with that problem as well as acne break-outs. I’ve also noticed a decrease in black heads.

The price is a little intimidating. I haven’t finished a jar yet. I’m guessing that with once a day use, it will last me about ten to twelve weeks, maybe longer.

I’m done searching for an acne control! This has worked wonders for me! I would recommend this to anyone.
