I incorporate this into my PCA skincare routine. My skin specialist has me to wash with the gentle cleanser and then tone with this smoothing toner. Since I’m pregnant right now, I then use Berodin’s lemon sulfur serum to spot treat any new blemishes followed with a PCA clear skin moisturizer. During the day, I’ll do this routine and finish with a PCA sunblock. This routine is simple and pregnancy safe. My skin has dramatically improved since first trimester, but I’ve been getting regular mini facials along with keeping to this routine. Overall, I like this toner. No smell and lasts about 1.5 months-ish. Applied using a cotton pad. Cuts down on oil production.

I have been using PCA products for 4 months now. I love the line and since this toner is in it, I love this toner. I am 41 almost 42. I am of mixed heritage and have adult onset acne with scarring. With the help of the PCA line and my esthetician I am on my way back to me for the first time in years. Even my tone is evening out. Yeah!!!!!!!!

This product has literally saved my skin! I know it tingles at first especially if you overuse it! It clears up cystic acne in a day or two. I use it with PCs acne gel and I spot with pigment gel… it has literally changed my skin! It looks so much more youthful! I use clear skin moisturizer too. Fantastic products! The lady who does my facials really was knowledgeable about her recommendations. I feel confident that these products can benefit all clients with the right guidance!

Smoothing toner is one of my favorite toners ever. I use this in conjunction with PCA’s nutrient toner. Smoothing toner is a little more drying to skin so I have to tone it down at times, but it is certainly not over drying. (I have combination, somewhat sensitive skin). It definitely smooths my skin out (what do you know…) and helps to prevent blemishes. I am young and don’t have any wrinkles yet so I can’t comment on that. I do cut down on it in the winter because of drying, but it is a staple in my bathroom all year.

Caveat: Different skin, different results. This review is based on my experience. I have adult acne, milia, and hyperpigmentation. I was hoping this toner could help with some of my skin issues.
Pros: My skin is usually sensitive to toners (alcohols) but this toner is alcohol-free. I use it as a part of my morning routine. After cleansing, I moisten an exfoliating cotton round with the toner and apply to my face, neck, and décolletage. Even after cleansing, the cotton round is still able to pick up some residue. My skin is left feeling clean and fresh. With continued use, I have noticed that my milia are reduced and my acne is minimal. Overall, my skin looks polished and clear.
Cons: It is a bit pricey.
Overall: I LOVE this toner! My face looks and feels wonderful after using it – for me, this toner is worth the price!

Buyers beware!!!! I got this because it said it was alcohol free and would be good for sensitive skin. But immediately after the first time of putting this on my face, my entire face was on fire. I had never felt anything like that before from a “Alcohol Free Toner”. I did try it again the next day, and same reaction. My face was so red. I quit using it after the second use. A few days had went by and my face had started to peel. Like it was a sunburn peel. It was awful. Not to mention if you read the ingredients the last one mentioned on the bottle was alcohol. Stay clear of this one
