The count is exact and shipment package was fine. Received on expected date.

We really like the soap. We didn’t want a double delivery which we blame on Amazon. It’s probably because of their computer geeks who are in charge of the web site.

I’ll start with the two good things. First, it’s an attractive bar of soap—if you’re into seeing a really transparent bar sitting in your soap dish, you’ll like this a lot. Second, you do end up clean when you use it.

It’s all downhill from there. The negatives:

    1. This is the first bar soap I’ve ever seen that comes with safety warnings. It’s got an ingredient list that is far longer than any other soap I’ve had. “Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, flush thoroughly with water.” So, I guess I should be prepared to stare into my shower with my eyes open in case of emergency. “Do not use on inflamed or broken skin.” Seriously??

    2. Most of the stuff on the box is blatantly misleading. “Pure & Gentle.” Pure and gentle what? Pure chemicals? Not so gentle. If you have dry or sensitive skin, I’d stay away from this (see #1 above). There is reference to the soap having “over 200 years of heritage” when the name is the only thing that has that history. One look at the ingredient list will tell you they couldn’t possibly have made anything like this 200 years ago. They claim it’s dermatologically tested, yet there are those safety warnings …

    3. It smells bad. At best, I might call it medicinal smelling but mostly, it’s a smell that makes me think of chemicals.

    4. It’s a big bar that somehow lasts only half as long as any other soap I’ve used. It’s amazing how much smaller it gets by the day. I guess the bright side is that since I don’t care for it, I won’t have to put up with it for nearly as long as I’d have guessed.

I tried this only because other mass-market glycerin soaps seem to be disappearing. I really prefer glycerin soap to conventional and there aren’t many to choose from now, but I won’t be buying this one again.

So it’s made in India for a British company, which keeps the price low, but the product is the same as always. Husbands like it also. You can use it down to nothing by putting small leftover soap bar in the indentation of a new bar. It sticks well.

I HAVE BEEN PURCHASING THIS SOAP FOR MY AGEING MOM FOR YEARS GREAT PRODUCT.

I HAVE BOUGHT FROM THIS SELLER A COUPLE OF TIMES AND AM VERY SATISFIED

This glycerin soap is perfect. No harsh chemicals and light scent. It’s mild on your skin and lathers well. It’s also reasonably priced. Win Win Win

  7. Pam Getwick

This soap is a terrific and effective facial cleaner without stripping the skin and leaving it tight. I am a loyal fan which is why I buy the large economy pack.

I think glycerine soap is the best. It disappears quickly, but the value is in being clean. Suds up well to show you it is working. Smells nice. Leaves skin FEELING clean and smooth. Slippery when wet.
