HALLELUJAH. I don’t know how else to put it. I have suffered from chronic canker sores (apthous stomatitis) for 20+ years and have tried every topical gel, patch, rinse, toothpaste, film-creating solution on the market in the US and even some from Japan. This is the only thing I’ve found that appears (8 days in, which is a long enough stretch for me that I am already singing about it) to PREVENT canker sores. I started using it when I had just gotten over 3 and had 1 remaining, which it healed in record time, and I haven’t gotten any others since even though I thought I felt a couple beginning to come on, but they were zapped. I couldn’t be happier about this. There are so many people out there who suffer from canker sores, which can be related to stress, nutrition, genetics and other things but about which there’s remarkably little medical literature. My dental hygienist recommended this two weeks ago and I ordered it before I even got out of the chair. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART to the creators of this, it’s hard to put my gratitude into words but this has improved my quality of life in so many ways.
I should also mention that it only does this work, which is the most important thing, but it’s probably the most pleasant canker sores treatment I’ve ever tried, other than perhaps mouth washes, which are okay but don’t work. The number of treatments that sting so badly I get tears in my eyes, or are extremely hard to apply, or that leave me waking up with a revolting gelatinous blob in my mouth…it’s incredible that this has been in the market since 2012 and I’ve never heard of it. Wish I could broadcast it to all the other sufferers out there!!!

Despite other reviewers talking about the pump action not working after a couple uses, I decided that wouldn’t happen to me and bought this. After 4 uses, the pump action wouldn’t work. I disassembled the all the pieces of the product (very easy to do–it’s all plastic with no small pieces to lose.) The problem seems to be that the gel is too viscous/thick to flow with any regularity up into the pump area. I reassembled and then gave the canister a few vigorous shakes upside down. That did the trick. So maybe that will work for others–shake the canister in vigorous, firm, upside down motions. I think the gel just needs to get moved into the pump top. Which is definitely a design flaw you’d think the company would be able to solve in.
Oh well. So now I vigorously shake the bottle a couple times and then pump. In three months I haven’t noticed any positive changes. It’s nice that the product does stay in place when you apply it to your recessed gum area. There’s no odor or taste, which is good. Though at least when I do oil pulling, the powerful scent and tingling gives you at the very least a placebo-effect feeling that something must be happening. I’ve been applying this stuff to one area of very bad gum recession. I’ll keep using it every night, but I have sincere doubts that anything is being helped. If it saves me from expensive, painful, gum reconstruction surgery, that’d be great. My gut says it’s not doing anything.

This product as well as the mouthwash is amazing! I had a chemical burn and damage to my lower gums and inside of my lower lip and was in agony. This was the only product I could use that provided relief and the gel kept my mouth from drying out long enough that I could get some sleep. It was even better than prescription mouthwash from my dentist. I will continue to use these even though I’ve finally healed after 2 months. Cant recommend enough just a great product line
