This is my first time using an epilator, so don’t have anything to compare it to. I have neuropathy and fibromyalgia, so everything feels 10x worse than it really is, however I also have a high tolerance for pain. With that being said, I opted for anything with good reviews and not too expensive if i didn’t like it. Because I’m a big baby when it comes to pain, (as in I don’t need to add to what I already have…), I bought some tattoo numbing cream with lidocaine and Aloe. I only need it to shave armpits and bikini area. It seemed to work best when i used it on the highest setting (think of ripping off a bandaid slow vs fast), and pulling the skin taught. There was still considerable pain at first, but eased up at each passing. Once all the thicker hairs were removed, I went over the areas with the guard off. No pain by that time. Not sure if any of the hairs were broken, or how long this will last, but i think it’s way better than shaving. When i shave, i either get ingrown hairs, razor burn, and/or my armpit lymph nodes swelling, not to mention what hair feels like when it start to grow back. All are painful, so i don’t shave very often. With using the tattoo cream, my skins feels smooth and soft. It looks rough afterwards, where the hair was pulled, but i didn’t feel or see that the epilator pinch my skin at all, and the look of rough areas will probably subside by tomorrow.
It also was easy to hold and had a super long cord! I personally wouldn’t want a battery i might have to recharge in the middle of this process while I’m using the numbing cream…
I’ve been lazy about leaving reviews lately, but this one was a must!
By the way it IS very loud, so wouldn’t recommend using at night if you live in an apartment building and have paper thin walls, or if you and your significant other, friends, family and/or pets want to remain on talking terms (confirming that pets WILL give you side-eye…)

I’ve been using this for almost 2 months now. Waited until I was able to write a honest review. All honestly this is probably the best way to remove hair! With regular razer my armpit hair grow fast until 3 days but with this item it takes almost 2 weeks to get hair growth again! And the best part is that each time it has been less and less hair!!! It is definitely painful the first 3 times you use it but as you continue it will start to hurt less. I am never going back to razer! So happy with my purchase <3

I have been wanting to try epilating, and this is a good product. It works well. The price is very reasonable, though it did come apart a little, but it was easy to snap it back into place

I use this epilator for several years and it works perfect. It is a high quality product. The epilator works as advertised. After using it for a year, I decided to buy another one, just in case. I save a lot of many with this product. Forget about razers! It removes hair very good, and I have smooth and hair free skin for about 2.5 – 3 weeks. This product works great on any area of your body. Yes, some zones of human body are very sensitive to this treatment. However, I recommend you to do it after taking a shower and wet any sensitive parts of your body before using this epilator. It should help to reduce the skin sensitivity. Eventually, the pain will be unnoticeable when you use it on the regular basis. Also, I recommend you to use an Aloe Vera Gel with high alcohol content after epilating. It helps to come and disinfect your skin. Do not forget to give you skin a day to recover. Then, you are going to see all great benefits of this Compact Hair Removal Epilator. Actually, I wish that the entire epilator was made of metal. This product is very easy to use and care. It does work perfect in 110 volt outlet. I use it in Japan when I stayed there. I highly recommend this product for those who tire of shaving your body and want to save money!!!

This product is AMAZING!!!! It may be only $39 but it works SO GOOD!!! The cord isn’t that short like some comments are saying. I was able to sit on my toilet and comfortable do my entire legs. IT LITERALLY ONLY TOOK 10 MINUTES TO WAX BOTH LEGS!!! And it isn’t even that painful. When you first put it to ur legs, it kinda feels like a bunch of static electricity strings but after about 30 seconds the pain is very tolerable. BUT LIKE ALL WAXING AND HAIR PLUCKING METHODS, ur hair follicle will get inflamed and you’ll see all these red dots from where the hair was plucked, THIS IS NOT A RASH!!! The red dots subsided by the next day, which I recommend using this product a day before you need to be presentable. Best $40 I’ve spend

As the title says. Hurts like hell on some areas while other areas are very easy to do. Came clean and works like a charm. Put on some extremely high energy music and grit your teeth. Do not just rush it or you’ll cry from pain. Does not appear to ever get clogged which was something I was worried about prior to purchasing. The tiny scraping brush words perfectly for removing hairs built up on the device itself as those things cling to your fingers if you try to remove them manually.

This machine works so well. I’ve tried on different parts of my body. It leaves skin so smooth. Didn’t even hurt too badly on coarse hair. I love it!! Wish I had bought it years ago!!
