I’ve been using manscapes line of products for a long time, and I’ve got to say this blows their trimmer out of the water.

I decided to buy the normal variant instead of the intimate based on the lack of comparisons between the two. I’ve got to say despite not being expressly designed for trimming your pubic hair, it does a great job. As expected it has a somewhat difficult time dealing with areas with loose skin, you know what I’m talking about. Even then it does a solid job, I haven’t gotten to use it many times yet so I’m sure there’s just a learning curve.

This trimmer is compact and waterproof, making it really easy to use in the shower or take with you for travelling. Comparing it again to the manscaped (I have the 3.0) it’s relatively similar in size, it’s longer but thinner, the side profile is the same but it’s about 1/2-2/3 the width and it’s the same length before you put the blade on. Due to the blade being able to bend back and forth it has an easier time staying close to the skin, I haven’t tried the 360 blade yet but I’m sure it works even better. The main issue I had with the manscaped is it would catch on skin because it’s “skin safe blade” while ceramic has a metal guard on it so you’ll snag your skin with it, this doesn’t have much of an issue and it completely disappears when you put the short guard on it. The adjustable guard it comes with is also nice for leg hair or armpit hair, anything you’d want to just even out and not shave off.

It also looks like they sell other specialized blades for it: I mentioned I decided not to go with the intimate, the only functional difference in that product is the blade which is compatible with the standard and pro versions. They also sell a nose hair trimmer attachment but you can get away with using the normal blade, although it’s not exactly easy.

Overall it’s a great product, reasonably priced and very nicely designed, you can use it for pretty much any hair on your body.

I have half a dozen various electric razors and trimmers and I don’t love any of them. I stumbled across this one. I decided to get it and see if it would end my quest for the perfect electric shaver/trimmer. What’s one more shaver to sit in a cupboard, unloved, right?

Well, I love it. And I followed it by buying the Philips BT9810. Which I also love.

So why did I buy both?

They are really good at different things. The OneBlade 360 is great for edging, shaping, clean up, manscaping, etc., and a quick face clean up when I don’t want to wet shave. It’s super maneuverable, quick, and versatile. In short, I like it for quick cleanups and edging but not so much for an all-out trim.

When I saw the 9810, I quickly realized it is basically the same trimmer as the Philips 7790 multigroomer, without all the blade guides, etc., and the really slick dial-in trimming adjustment. I have one of these sitting, mostly unloved, in my bathroom. It’s just too fiddly, with all the different blade guides. I found it more useful when I was cutting my own hair (thank you, pandemic). Just not what I wanted for quick, easy clean-ups and trims of beard and mustache. It’s also just not great for getting the fur off the rest of my face. i.e. It’s not shaver-ish at all. It was fine for more extensive beard shaping, etc., but again…fiddly. The BT9810 is all the goodness without the fiddly. SOLD!

The BT9810 is excellent for more serious trimming. I get the benefits of a trimmer with multiple blade guards without all the fiddling. It is bulkier and less nimble than the OneBlade for clean-up and shaping but does a better job at the more involved or thicker cutting. You aren’t going to use this in other places either, like for manscaping. Well, unless you are very brave. I got more consistent length when setting this to a 5mm cut and hitting my mustache and beard than with the OneBlade. The OneBlade gave me nicer edges. Probably because it is just more maneuverable and shaves more like a razor in some ways.

So, I wound up with two clippers I didn’t know I needed. I love them both.

Have someone on your holiday list that you want to spoil? Buy them this trimmer. Or buy them both. Or buy them for yourself.

All the other lackluster trimmers are going to the thrift shop now. I’ll keep the multigroomer for those oddball occasions when I want the versatility of multiple blade guards, the body groomer, and interchangeable blades. The OneBlade 360 and the BT9810 are now my go-to trimmers now.

If you read this far, you definitely deserve to buy yourself one or both of these trimmers. 😉

I have to admit, I’ve avoided this product for the past few years. For some reason I didn’t think it was something I needed. I recently started maintaining my beard on my own more and needed something with a bit more precision. Safety razors and straight razors were cutting up my face. My $200 Braun electric razor cuts good, but is terrible at getting straight edges. So I figured I would give this a try and I must say I’m very happy with it. This is a very high quality product for the price. Not only does this razor provide the precision I needed to line up my beard, but it also shaves very very well, as good or better than my $200 Braun. The attachments it comes with are well made and useful. Plus the unit itself is just a little bigger than a regular safety razor so it’s easy to maneuver and travel with. I highly recommend buying one of these before buying some of the more expensive machines. I have really thick facial hair too and this thing still performs well. Highly recommended, great job Philips!

The green protector is very effective in protecting sensitive area of male private parts. Yet the shave is very clean and close. I had shaved only once, but very impressed with overall performance. Will comeback to edit if find anything interesting worth sharing. Thanks.

It’s easy and clean, especially for trimming. Maybe not as close as a straight razor, but it does nice work.

Llevo 1 año con el producto, y solo la he tenido que recargar tres veces, creo que ya perdí el cargador. Lo que sí, los repuestos son algo caros, prefiero comprarme otra afeitadora.

I absolutely love, love, love the Philips Norelco OneBlade 360 Face + Body! It’s incredibly convenient and works exceptionally well. Despite using it quite roughly and going very close, I haven’t cut myself at all. It leaves my skin smooth and clean, and the included guard and additional attachments are really helpful. It’s very easy to use, and the battery life is impressive. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable and efficient grooming tool!
