They came in a plain envelope from BH Photo. Seem to be off brand and not Phillips. The tool to help change blades not included. Just shrink wrap on cardboard no writing or instructions. On the plus side they do seem to work. They give a good shave. Not sure how long they will last. One of the generic logo on blades already came off. We will see.

Yes, it’s a little more expensive but the saving experience is wonderful. This is a real, genuine Phillips Norelco shaver head, in my opinion. Spend the extra money and get this one for your 8000 or 9000 series shaver.

Good News, the package was delivered and it is the real deal from Philips Norelco. All stainless steel parts and works great. Shaving is a pleasure again. Make sure you see “Made in the Netherlands” on the package. Easy to tell, it will be the most expensive. Don’t settle for “Complatable To”.

I made the mistake of buying the cheap Chinese nock off cutter head for the 9000 series razor. They were worthless and sounded like mixer beaters banging against the side of the mixer bowl. I bought these made in Europe which cost several times more but they work like this razor used to work when new. I shaved off a 5 day beard growth without any pulling of whiskers and it cuts very well.

I previously bought a different replacement head and it came as a full set, which is the top that houses the blades and the bottom half that connects to the device. This replacement head is only the top half, and it is WAY TOO expensive for only half of a razor head. Furthermore, it does not fit my bottom half of the head perfectly, so the connection is loose they frequently come apart. DO NOT BUY THIS.
