Love the Philosophy brand. I started with the purity original, then after a year they have the scented ones!
I switch between Turmeric and Goji Berry; the Goji Berry one is perfect for my skin type and just works for me, while the turmeric one helps get rid of dark spots within weeks but seems to be a little harsher on my skin.

Product seems nice enough. Smells good and the bottle is decent sized. But my god is it brutal on my skin. I immediately broke out in a bright red rash all over my face! It’s angry and itchy. It’s awful to pay so much for a supposedly great product only to be stuck with something I can’t use and a red itchy face. If you’re even the slightest bit sensitive you might want to avoid this one.

I’m truly blown away by this product. I’ve been using the Philosophy Purity face wash for over 20 years, but this turmeric variety is quickly clearing and brightening my skin in a way I’m shocked is possible for a face wash (or any product, really).
I’ve been using it for less than a week, and in that time it’s significantly lightened up my dark spots (acne, freckles/sun damage). I looked in the mirror this morning and had to wonder if I forgot to remove my makeup last night because my dark spots are so faded it looks like I’m wearing concealer. My skin overall just looks healthier and rosier.
I’m using it in combo with my silicone face brush (probably helps it to penetrate), and also adding a bit of my hyaluronic acid serum to infuse some hydration.
I’m sad that this is just limited edition, but I really hope I can get the same results adding some turmeric to my regular face wash. I’ve used turmeric masks before, but never really got these kind of results. Hopefully the difference is using it in a face wash 2x daily with the scrubber, because this is truly doing amazing things.
