Excellent for mitigating redness. Leaves skin feeling soothed and moisturized.

  2. Migrarrhea

I neither like nor dislike this stuff. It does moisturize well and does not irritate my skin (or cause any blemishes), but it doesn’t do anything for the redness in my skin.

Cica cream has taken off overseas in countries with much better skincare regimes, such as Korea or Japan. However, in the United States, Cica Cream has not really taken off. Don’t regret passing this up and buy it now! It reduces redness, inflammation, and creates a protective barrier around your skin. Highly recommend

I struggle with a red face so I’m always on the look for something that may help. This is a lightweight gel, and a little goes a long way. So price wise I think this is worth it. It should last awhile. I apply it at night as my last step in my skincare routine. I love the way it feels on my face. It doesn’t leave any residue or weird feeling on the skin. It’s not the most moisturizing product I have used but it also doesn’t leave me with dry skin. I also haven’t really seen much improvement if any to my redness. I’m still early on in using this, just a few weeks, so I’d like to give it more time before I say if it helps with redness. If it does I will come back and update my review.

it’s a very nice moisturizer. I’ve been using it after shaving. Seems to really help with the razor bumps

  6. cfeagans

What I like about this cream is that it goes on very cleanly. There’s no slickness, no residue… it just feels clean. I’ve been using it on areas that seem to be dry/itchy and it seems to really help. I wouldn’t say it moisturizes as much as it seems to soothe, so I only dropped four stars on that category. It’s a little pricey, but I like the way my skin feels, particularly when applied just after a shower before bed.

  7. CarylBird

Moisturizes effectively. Doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin but doesn’t reduce the redness from my rosacea much either.

I use this cream as the last step in my face care routine. I need a good moisturizer to protect my skin barrier (I use a high-strength vita A product), but I prefer something that’s not too heavy/oily on a daily basis, saving that only for when it’s really needed. This cream served my purposes wonderfully. It doesn’t have any fragrance to irritate my eyes, nose, or skin, and it kept my skin feeling soft during the day. When I used it at night, I woke up with smooth, soft feeling cheeks and neck, areas that are prone to dryness. This didn’t cause any problems on my T-zone area (and it’s claimed to help with oil production but that is hard to evaluate since that’s a long-term thing), so it is suitable for a variety of skin types.

    Ingredient analysis
    • In addition to moisturizer/humectants, it has several components isolated from Centella (aka Cica) known to be soothing and healing, plus niacinamide, panthenol, ceramide; these are all goodies for skin.
    • It has two MEAs which are rated EWG 3 & 4, but this gets an 86/100 on Yuka, which is considered excellent.
