I have spent thousands on dental device from the professional dentists trying to find something that stops me from clenching. They were all the thing that works 90 % of the time. So I shelled out the money. Only to have expensive devices I bit into and was damaging other teeth.

While these plackers do not stop me from clenching they are not hard and not damaging my teeth. I wear right through even the strongest hard plastic pro models within a year that were suppose to be the answer and solve the problem. I had a full mouth piece that went around all my top teeth but it hurt all my bottom teeth and started causing nerve pain. The second was a front tooth glide type that your bottom teeth are supposed to slid off ( mine just dug a groove into it thus making it useless.)

So was afraid that I would bite through this placker and choke. However, I wear it on my bottom teeth (it does sometimes feel uncomfortable between my teeth and the bottom lip and gum if it slides down.) and I also have learned to do face massage and moving my jaw to loosen it up before bed a few times a week and have had great success with this product. I am also managing chronic pain better. I get about a week or two use by rinsing every morning ( depending upon how much I clench) I dodent the teeth guards but have not punctured or bit through one yet. They have never came out of my mouth at night nor have they choked me either! They stay where I place them ( i do have a small mouth). My teeth are definitely less sore than when I dont use anything or with one of the professional guards. I have been using these plackers a couple months now. I will purchase again. I purchased some other devices but so far since this has been working I havent even bothered to try the others. ( it is so nice to find something that is helping for now)

My doctors advice if you clench you cant rely just on the device to solve the problem, utilize massage stretching to reduce clenching PT or youtube videos may help. Stress can play a part in clenching and too many doctors focus on this aspect only, when it can also be caused by chronic pain anywhere in the body ( causing physical stress), joint dysfunction of the jaw, teeth alignment and connective tissue disorders, as well as some neck and muscle issues. So getting to the bottom of your clenching is important especially if you do not feel stress is the only reason. Also Chronic pain anywhere in the body can cause fight or flight body response and clenching is one aspect of that response, so finding ways to help your body not feel in danger/pain can have great impact on your clenching. Hope this helps!

Don’t hesitate! It’s not bulky, wearing it is easy. I’m a jaw clencher, so I can’t say for bruxism. The piece stays in place all right, it can move a little, but it stays in place. It’s soft, doesn’t hurt my gums. I’ve used it 5 nights, and it’s not destroyed, so I can re-use often and a box can go a long way. The piece is small, but it does the job. The piece doesn’t have to be as big as your mouth to actually do the job and protect teeth. I’ve had 2 other models before from Dentek: one bulky that you put in hot water (it was awful and I was never able to wear it longer than 20 mins), Another one called Dentek confort fit (which was fine and I’ve used it alot, but it was less stable than this Plackers one and less easy to clean). Honestly, I’m super happy I bought this, I will never return to Dentek. People complaining probably have never tried the dentist bulky teeth protector.

These work every bit as well as the other products that look basically the same but literally cost 8X as much! There are 16 of these for $14.50. Others on here are 2 for $16.00. I’ve used lots of variants and these are my favorite at any cost. They come in sealed individual packets making them perfect for travel. I find that they last a week each no problem. I just clean them each night with fizzy tablets or, if I’m traveling, my toothbrush. I’ve had problems with the more expensive, adjustable kids breaking over night and waking up with pieces in my mouth. These are extremely simple. No moving parts. Just a properly formed piece of soft plastic that covers the lower rear teeth and prevents me from chomping and cracking my front teeth while I sleep. I will never spend something like $8 per unit for the fancier versions when these work perfectly at less than $1 per unit.

My husband tried many many guard for bruxism but they were all really uncomfortable to sleep with. This is designed so well, just perfect. Him and I have been able to have good night sleep since he has started using this product. Thank you

I had a custom mouth guard for night time teeth grinding and it was okay but was not super comfortable. I bought mouth guards on line that you boil to get them to conform to your teeth but still not real comfortable. These are so small I hardly notice them. I can also talk clearly to my wife with them in. I definitely recommend.

These work way better than a mouth piece. They are easy to use . You don’t have to boil them to fit , just put them in and they hold . They have totally stopped me from grinding my teeth and that has helped from having ear pain. They are not thick so it doesn’t really feel like you have them in. Great price . One size fits all. And they do because I shared my pack with my mother .

    Pros:

    1. Comfortable: Many users find Plackers mouth guards to be comfortable and easy to wear, even for extended periods.
    2. Effective: Reviewers praise their effectiveness in protecting teeth and reducing teeth grinding and clenching.
    3. Customizable: Plackers mouth guards are moldable, allowing for a customized fit.
    4. Affordable: They are generally priced lower than prescription mouth guards or other brands.
    5. Convenient: Plackers are easy to clean and can be reused multiple times.

    Cons:

    1. Not suitable for severe teeth grinding: Some users with severe bruxism find Plackers mouth guards to be too thin and not effective in preventing teeth grinding.
    2. May not fit perfectly: Some users experience issues with the fit, which can affect their comfort and effectiveness.
    3. Not recommended for teeth with large fillings or crowns: Plackers may not be suitable for teeth with large fillings or crowns, as they can cause discomfort or damage.
    4. Not a substitute for professional dental care: While Plackers can help with teeth grinding, they should not replace regular dental check-ups and cleanings.

Overall: Plackers mouth guards are a good option for those seeking a comfortable, affordable, and effective solution for teeth grinding and clenching. However, users with severe teeth grinding or complex dental issues may need to explore other options.

J’ai essayé des gouttières à 30euros thermoformables et celle ci est beaucoup plus confortable, très discrète elle se fait oublier pendant la nuit, et après un petit lavage au savon peut tout à fait être utilisé beaucoup plus que 3 jours

The most comfortable night/mouth guard I’ve tried, and it’s much smaller and less obtrusive. Works well if you grind your teeth or tense your jaw while sleeping. Initially, I thought the shape didn’t fit right, but it really is flexible and after some trial and error, they are forgotten throughout the night; a first for me when it comes to any sort of mouth guard. I also like that they don’t fit on your teeth like any sort of braces or retainers, so there is no pressure on your teeth or shifting of your jaw. And because they are smaller and just add some cushion between your molars, I’m able to keep my mouth closed. I’ve had problems with custom retainers and mouth guards due to the bulkiness. I would wake up with a dry throat from sleeping with my mouth open.
