I love this brand. I have been using a competitive product (the oh so famous yellow brand). But I felt like that was drying out my lips more and more.

I’ve recently changed my entire household to all clean and natural products, including chapstick! This was my first choice based on the look of the packaging which first got me to click on it, then it was all about the ingredients. This is the cleanest, smoothest, most moisturizing beeswax chapstick I’ve ever used. I recommend it for absolutely everyone! Get rid of the other toxic garbage you use and get this instead. I like that is made with all natural ingredients, and that has almost no flavor which keeps me from licking my lips like some flavored products. A bit pricey but I like that I’m supporting beekeepers instead of a petrochemical company.

This lip balm smells faintly of honey (which I love) and is hydrating without being too glossy. This works great as a first layer before lipstick!! The ingredients are simple and it’s relatively inexpensive when you look at the quality of ingredients. I keep one in my backpack, purse, classroom, etc.! This is my new favorite lip balm!!

I was always a Burts Bees guy, a Chapstick Original guy, good old Vaseline never let me down either. But after finding this Portland Bee Balm one time at a Ray’s Food Place, I’ll never use anything else by choice! I keep a stick in my go-bag, one in my truck, and one at home.
This stuff has so far saved me from central Oregon high desert sub-zero wind chill, multiple river day sunburns, welding flash burn (LOL) and my personal favorite achievement – the super hot metal coffee cup while I was camping. There’s no pain reliever, no medicines to speak of,… just good old fashioned nature and it just freaking works!
I’ve used the remnants of one stick that met its end in my center console mid summer, put it into an old Carmex cup-thing and used it on a paper cut… and it worked better than any ointment I’ve ever used.
I recommend getting the unflavored one. I’m not much for flavored stuff, but you have to be agreeable with beeswax. It’s not sweet or really any flavor at all, and smells just like you’d expect – like beeswax. But it works better than any of those fancy medicated lip balms ever have.
I’m sure there’s dozens of off-label uses for a good beeswax ointment, and this should be on your list. As a lip Balm this is my hands down favorite. I use old sticks up for various things like when you end up with super dry cuticles. Heck I even used this as a lubricant on a tent zipper once haba.
Keep a new stick around for your chapped kisser.
