私はバーベナという植物がどんなものか知りませんが、
以前、ロクシタンのバーベナの香水や石鹸は使った経験がありましたので、
香りの想像はできました。フランス産にはよくある香りのようですね。
レモングラスのような、グレープフルーツのような、スッキリとした爽やかな香りです。
ラベンダーのように穏やかに癒されるのとはまた違って、
帰宅時の気分の切り換えには最適です。
香りの中では一番好きかもしれません。

My boyfriend likes liquid soap so we have a dispenser of that next to the sink. I find it quite drying to my hands so I wanted to give these little soaps a try. I really enjoy them. The scents are absolutely wonderful and the soap is very moisturizing. They make the bathroom smell lovely. These soaps are quite small. They are guest soaps but that suits me just fine. I put one or two in a small soap dish and use them to wash my hands. They are very long-lasting and creamy. Now, they wouldn’t be good as a shower soap. In the shower, I use the large Pre De Provence soaps and have been a loyal fan of those for years. That’s why I decided to give these guest soaps a try next to the bathroom sink. I’m really glad I did. The scent name is carved on the back of each of the guest soaps so you can make note of which ones are your favorite. I will most like purchase these again for the bathroom sink. Having a choice is nice and Pre De Provence makes the BEST soaps.

Purchased this set for two reasons…first I wanted to try several scents of this soap, and secondly, when traveling, I hate using horrible hotel soaps which irritate my skin, and wanted to add a little comfort and luxury to my travels. The perfume from these soaps is amazing, It just flooded out and hit me as I was opening the package…even before I had even opened the plastic bag and beautiful storage box inside. I loved all the scents, which I did not expect, as I’m more of a floral girl, and did not think I would like the sage, verbena or coconut much…but they were all beautiful. I am planning on using traditional Savon de Marseilles soap for daily use, to see if it will help my dry itchy skin, as I expect the Pre de Provence soaps may be a little drying, but absolutely perfect for use while traveling…and of course don’t count towards your ‘liquids’ allowance, leaving more room in that quart Baggie for other stuff! Ordinary shower gels only leave you feeling clean for a very short while, but I find traditional soaps give you a clean feeling that lasts for hours….as a nurse working 12 hour shifts and getting exposed to unpleasant smells and body fluids, I really, really appreciate that lasting feeling of clean, and it is also so lovely to use when I get home from a long shift and need to feel like a girl again 🙂

Pre de Provence French milled soap is very aromatic, lathers well, and lasts a long time. This boxed assortment is a great hostess gift; or, just lets you try out all the fragrances without buying large bars.

These are divine. My budget doesn’t allow as many indulgences as it once did (and hopefully will someday again), but these were a great value and deliciously scented.
I placed them throughout my home to enjoy the fragrance in a light, not overpowering way.
One thing I like about Pre de Provence is the complexity of their scents. If you go to TJ Maxx or Marshall’s or a similar store and work your way down the soap or candle aisle, you notice lots of “one note” less expensive scents.
But if you invest in a quality brand, you will be rewarded with depth and character of scent, and this little gift pack allows you to do just that on a budget. A very nice indulgence for me.

I have been using the Linden 250g bar of soap from this company for years. It is hands down, my favorite scent. It just makes me happy when I smell it and makes my bathroom smell amazing! I live in an area that does not sell this company’s soaps so I wanted to purchase a ‘sample’ set to know what the other bars smell like (before purchasing the large, bath bars). Another reviewer had mentioned that this set of soaps does not have their scents labeled, so they did not know what the scents were. That is incorrect. Each soap has the name perfectly carved on the bottom so you know exactly what the scent is. These soaps are small but smell really good. I likes all of them but especially the rose and of course, linden. It would make a cute gift given a long with a soap dish as a housewarming gift. I took one star off as the soaps had little soap flakes all over them where they had been jostled around…also, these soaps are expensive for the little bit of soap you are getting (that’s coming from someone who spends $8 per bath bar).
Private Buyer –
In case ‘guest soap’ or 25g soap bar doesn’t bring to mind how small these are, let me describe… these are about the size of a dishwasher cleaning tab. These are very small, so indeed are great for guests of a hotel or bed and breakfast. They are also good if you like to frequently change scents or if you want to have a separate soap dish and soap for the kids. The scents are heavenly! This is a very high-quality product.

These little hand soaps were just what I wanted! Just big enough to sit in my little flower dish while also being very fragrant and capable of lathering for hand washing. I’ve had larger bars of soap that end up splitting or becoming misshappen and these are perfect alternatives. I can also put a few in a larger dish and people can choose which fragrance they want! Love these!

These little soaps would make a nice gift. This is also a way to try many different scents of this soap. However, due to their small size, the soaps do not last all that long, and they become too small to use. (This is fine, if you are really just trying to decide which scent of the larger size of soap to buy.)
