It soaps. It cleans. It smells good. My only qualms would be that it isn’t as awesome as Burt’s bees baby for kids. It doesn’t feel good in the eyes. So if it’s for you, it does the job, although it feels a little rubbery rinsing off my face? Idk how else to explain it. But it works well and is certainly worth the price. But if you are looking for all natural products for kids, maybe just make sure to use it for their bodies only and not hair or face just to avoid it getting in their eyes. So we use Burt’s bees baby for the baby and for my toddlers hair and face, then this soap for toddler body and all of mmy except hair. I haven’t tried it for hair but I will update if I do. It dries out my skin more then Burt’s too. But the cost difference is crazy lol I’ll take the negatives happily for the natural ingredients and price 🙂

I buy the unscented Castille soap and create my own foaming hand soap and shower cleanser. I add water and essential oils for a 100% natural scent. I prefer getting the unscented version so I can the scents for the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room. This soap works well and is gentle on my skin.

Look, I’m not a chemist so I can’t say with 100% certainty that these are exactly the same products (Dr bronner’s) I can however say that I have purchased both products in the 1 gallon containers and here’s my assessment. The peppermint Dr bronner’s smells fantastic and even has a bit of a lingering smell when you’re out of the shower. It’s very strong and actually tingles a little bit which some people may like. It’s been my experience that most people looking to buy castle soap are looking for absolutely plain vanilla soap that won’t dry out their skin.
In my opinion, that is a huge difference between these two. They are almost exactly the same price… Dr bronner’s is a little bit more but it definitely dries out your skin. At least the peppermint one does. I’ve purchased their multi pack with the various different sents and they all pretty much do the same thing. This stuff is pretty amazing. If you have sensitive skin or dry skin, this soap is made for people like you. It does not dry out your skin and it smells like absolutely nothing. What I like about it is it foams up like no other soap I’ve ever purchased. A very small amount gets you a tremendous amount of lather. The best part, there’s absolutely nothing… I mean no smell, no drying, no anything. This stuff is not dyed or scented in any way. It is just pure castle soap. I would suggest giving it a shot and also trying Dr bronner’s. You may have more success with the original but not me. Good luck

I just opened it and tried it yesterday and love it more than any other liquid organic castile soap i have used. First I was taken aback as it is very thin and worried I would go thru it too quickly but not the case. I dont think. you have to be careful pouring it as it comes out so quickly but it does not take much at all to have great lather, and it has no scent which is wonderful for those of us who are sensitive. I have tried them all and many unscented ones still have too much scent. this soap is Perfect. it makes great lather, unscented, leaves skin nice and I just love it more than the other brands I have tried including Bronners for sure. I will be buying this over and over again/. so happy I found it. five stars for this great soap and good value too. just be careful pouring it as it comes out quickly it is thin but it is wonderful.

In the past two months I ordered 6 different brands of castile liquid soap to try. Having tried Dr. Bronners 30 years ago, I decided to try other brands and compare. Here are the brands I compared: Dr. Bronners, Dr. Woods, Cove, Seven Minerals, Carolina, and this brand: La Almona. I really enjoyed washing my hands with La Almona and loved all the lather. My hands feel squeaky clean after rinsing and almost dry, but after towel drying my hands, they are not at all dried out, but super soft. My top two brands for rinsing cleanly and not leaving a white residue, or drying my hands out, are La Almona and Carolina. It’s a toss up. I can’t decided which I prefer, except that I love how Carolina has different scents, like the almond.
