After having Covid a couple of years back, I noticed I was losing some hair. I decided to give this shampoo a try and it is my absolute favorite. The saying “you get what you pay for” is absolutely true with this product. It smells great. The combination of the shampoo & conditioner has strengthened my hair.

Absolutely a step up from the previous purple shampoo I was using, that would only moderately tone and left my hair feeling dry.
I’m seriously pleased with this. It’s sulphate free, so it leaves my hair feeling exceptionally soft, almost like if I were bathing with a water softener installed in my house. There’s no oily or greasy residue and I feel fine to keep styling my hair a day or two after washing.
I have naturally dark blonde hair with a lot of natural red. I colour it lighter (medium blonde with lowlines) with an ashier tone, and I notice this has been doing great work in maintaining the tone and keeping my natural brassy colour at bay. I usually leave it on my hair about 5 minutes in the shower to really try to make it work. I also find I don’t need to require too much to wash my long hair – a bit goes a considerable way.
No staining on my tub, my facecloth, or even my microfibre shower curtain. It comes right off without issue for me, even if it was dried on. No staining on my hands or skin either, and I am very pale in winter!
If I had any comment it’s I’m not the biggest fan of the scent. My previous shampoo is inferior in other ways but smelled nicer. This is a bit strong in the shower and has sort of a chemical way of the smell, though it’s not unbearable by any means – just not my favourite. It does mute a lot on your dried hair and the scent warms and relaxes considerably.
But I am sold overall on this!

I’ve tried every purple shampoo out there, and this is by far the best. This stuff has single handedly perfected my super light (but stubbornly brassy) blonde hair to an amazing icy platinum shade with zero brass. AND somehow doesn’t leave ANY purple deposits behind, like almost every other purple shampoo out there . I will never switch shampoos ever again!

The quality is effective as the higher lux brands like Kerastase. It’s a great money saver, user friendly, and works beautifully. I saved a little money here vs. purchasing this product at a retail salon store. Works beautifully for grey, white and blonde hair color types.

I have purchased Pureology Purple Shampoo a few times. My hair feels smooth after washing. The colour of my hair also remains the same as if I just got back from the salon. It really helps to tone down the brassiness. Even though it’s a bit expensive, I love the product because it works perfectly!
