I thought this shampoo was pretty good and it didn’t seem to leave my hair as dry as some other purple shampoos I have used in the past. It didn’t leave my hair with that slightly violet ash tone that I like but it did seem to tone down the brassiness in my hair. I think it’s kind of on the pricey side for what it does but to be fair I didn’t combine it with their purple conditioner. With that being said I do like that it is cruelty, paraben and sulfate free.

These products absolutely take brassiness away from highlights and gray hair. I wouldn’t say the scent is unpleasant, but I’m not a fan of it. The shampoo has a great lather to it. It doesn’t have a ton of chemicals in it and the conditioner does make my hair soft, but I’m struggling to get around. It just smells very “elderly”.

I have used so many purple shampoos and this one is definitely one of the best. It doesn’t dry my hair out like others. It has a fresh clean smell. It rinses clean. It leaves my hair very soft. It works great and helps turned my brassy color to a more vibrant blonde. I love it! Great product.

I use to get my hair professionally colored. By week 2 the gray would start to show and finding myself buying a bottle of gray covered spray to cover it.
I decided to color my own hair and started using this products and OMG I don’t see any gray on my head. It has been 6 weeks and still maintaining. Best gray hair products shampoo and conditioner plus it smells really nice. Ladies if your finding yourself going to the hair salon every for 3-4 weeks just for gray coverage you need this products. This purple shampoo is perfect to keep the brassiness down in my highlighted, naturally blonde hair. The color of this shampoo vs others like it was the first thing I noticed. It is much darker and richer in color than the rest. The consistency of the shampoo is also different. It is more jelly like than its competitors, and at first was unsure of how i was going to like it. Bottle is easy to open and squeeze. it lathers up nicely, doesn’t dry my hair out like the other purple shampoos I’ve tried, has more natural ingredients vs other brands ands also doesn’t have that super strong chemical like smell I’ve experienced in the past. I was using a purple shampoo purchased elsewhere & have since stopped using it as my scalp is very sensitive and it was making me itch. This one does not. Definitely recommend to all of my blonde friends and family.

I was looking for a shampoo that met my needs and it’s totally worth every penny. My hair tends to look brassy after highlights and with this shampoo the color looks beautiful again. What I like is that it feels hydrated and clean. With other expensive shampoos the color is good but it feels super dry. I totally recommend this if you have highlight or gray hair. The smell is super subtle so you can use a conditioner that has a scent and your hair will look great! A MUST TRY! Great quality and ingredients.
