After receiving this deodorant a few days ago and using it a couple times I was confused on why the scent isn’t sticking on me what’s so ever. And at first I thought that there might be a plastic piece on top like other new deodorants but there wasn’t. And for 25 dollars I’m expecting very good quality. Highly disappointed on this and I strongly suggest that you don’t buy and waist your money on this product.

I buy this Polo Red deodorant stick for my teen. It’s the best deodorant we’ve found for him. The scent smells good and is compatible with his body chemistry and the Polo Red body spray he uses. It seems to do more than just cover up BO as I haven’t noticed any BO on my son even in very high heat weather. This is a clear stick so he doesn’t have an issue of white flecks falling off or getting white residue on his clothing like he had with the white stick deodorant stick he used before Polo Red.
This deodorant doesn’t have alcohol and I don’t see aluminum listed as an ingredient, though it has other chemicals like fragrance and sodium hydroxide (a caustic ingredient that gets a 3-4 rating by EWG). However, natural deodorants haven’t worked for my teen, so I don’t see a way to avoid them. So I’m only taking off 1/2 star for chemicals because Polo Red doesn’t claim to be natural, and it’s the only deodorant my teen will use as it’s effective, invisible and smells good. He’s really happy with it. 4.5 stars (rounded to 5 stars).
